Join us For Fresh Peppers Harvest
Hello Hive

Happy new day to us all it's a blessing to see the light of this day and to be counted among the living. I have been feeling heavy to get out of bed after this morning yesterday Activities at the farm, we went to do some ground breaking in preparation for planting if rice bed. We usually grow our rice in different categories from the ones we plant directly in the ground to the ones we transplant after growing in nursery and hence forth. It is the nursery bed we have been preparing.

For today we would be harvesting these peppers. They are ready and ripe for harvest. Right after our work yesterday I realized that we have a good number of the peppers that are ready for harvest

And even while going home I did pluck a few that I had used yesterday evening for my cooking. Peppers are very expensive at this time, you can ask my fellow country people on the Blockchain. Ever since peppers got expensive I havent purchased any from the market.

At first I have been using the dried peppers I had preserved at during the times that peppers were in excess last year, now I have a good number of available and fresh ones from the farm that I can start using.
I have often stress the importance of prompt harvest especially for peppers. When they are not picked up on time, it takes less than 2weeks for them to get overipped before finally get rotten. Rotten peppers are good for no use even though people still sell them at the market. Another thing that can happen if these peppers are not picked up on time is that they can can be eaten by bird. Alot of birds here feed on ripped pepper regardless of how hot these peppperish these peppers can be, it's really a good part that surprises me.
Our activities in the farm often do not have a definite direction, we just pick up whatever we find doing as the priority for the day and since these are ready you can join us for a mini harvest.
Curated.
