Hello Hive.

Adopting crypto now due to current money crisis in Nigeria might be an escape route.
How many Nigerian are educated enough to adopt crypto.
Or is it better to go back to a crude life of barter system.

Almost everyone on hive is aware of the chaos going on in my country presently due to money scarcity.
We cannot totally explain what is the mind of the government and CBN governor where they gave out almost two impossible policies for the country that brought about this menance.

Wishing for the country to go Cashless, they first made all the citizens to deposit their fiats in the banks in the name of "they want to change and reprint the currency",

Everyone did deposit their monies, it is either the CBN didn't print an equivalent of the money deposited by all the citizens or that something else is going on and a few number of the government parastatals are now holding unto everybody's money.

If it is true that an equivalent of the deposited money wasn't printed because they want the country to go cashless, majority of the citizens aren't educated enough to understand how to carry out digital transactions... And would prefer to have their fiats back which has now been withheld by banks giving excuse that there is not enough money in circulation.

This was when the patience of the citizens were tried.
No money to run our daily lives and people resulted to paying money to banks before they can withdraw Thais deposited funds, a typical example of us buying our own currency within the country.

So I put this questions to us.

Is life better off without money
Have we become so dependent on money that we cannot live a normal life without it.
Can we go back to farms, grow our foods and find means to meet up with our basic needs without money?

Is trade by barter system still possible since we had much peace then exchanging our goods for something else.
The country was more at peace then I guess.

Has money made us to loss our sound morals and good behavior replacing them with greed, selfishness and all kinds of behavior just to get rich.

Is money the ultimate of everything in life.

Has money cause more harm than good

The impatience displayed was totally out of place, frustrating and disappointing to see.

Adults going to the banks naked and unashamed just because they are desperate to receive their money back, I was totally embarrassed at the scenes...

We have experience occasional violent and brutal protest spreading across the country because of the new policy and Scarcity of money.
