Needlework with no motivation.

Happy new Monday family.
My mood is just getting better writing here knowing that I will have a lot of friends to talk to on a Monday like this.
I have recently moved into my apartment from my father house to start a life for my own.

But it didn't go as easy as I thought. I felt alone in the apartment, everywhere is so silent, not a single person around that I could talk to. I was gradually feeling alone.

A friend of mine sells thrift with a mannequin and I had borrow that for my dress picture

Been an introvert has not helped me at all but having my siblings around kept loneliness away. We talk gist and play around the house but imagine myself now in a single bedroom apartment, with fence, gate and almost no one to talk to.

I am new in the neighborhood and haven't formed any acquaintances with anyone besides everyone lives secludedly in their fences. I lost every motivation to sew any cloth.

I almost ruined this fabrics when I tried. Most of our needlework friends often use sewing or crocheting to pass the time, moody moments or loneliness. I thought that will help me to forget how I was feeling only for me to realized that I have cut the fabric wrongly.
The back half length did not tally with the front as you can see here.

I missed some calculations for the joining just because I wanted a V-shape style line at the front. The fabric is ruined only that I have a. Some of it left that I can use to correct the clothes. It is a must for me to recut and reshape the dress again.

I chose to abandon it here and either go visit a friend or have her come visit me, talking about @bimpcy.
It is necessary for me to go out, have fun and someone I could talk to this might help release the tension I am feeling.

How do you recover from your down moment since it is almost impossible for anyone not to have been in such position.

Recovering from down moment is always easy when we communicate with close friends and relatives, as for me, once my phone is on,there is nothing like down moment because I will quickly call my friend and tell him or her what am passing through and before you know it, I will forget about it and move on

My dear, It can be really heart drowning. I have been there so many times I can’t count. What I do is usually go for a walk. Sometimes, I just cry it out to feel relieved. You’re a strong lady. And beautiful in and out. ❤️‍🔥

Sorry about the outcome of the dress, but I believe we can transform and fix it into something nice. I will definitely be with you tomorrow so we can work on it.

I remembered how you were with me through my down and lonely days years back, yours will also pass just as mine did but I will suggest you take a walk sometimes.

When I first moved into an apartment by myself, even though I prefer quiet, I came from a too-full house that was always too noisy. I thought I would never miss the noise because it always hurt my head, but like you, I wasn't used to the very-quiet. At first I would play a radio or the TV (back when I had a TV hooked up, lol) just to have background noise for company, something I almost never do otherwise.
It takes some time to adjust, but I love my quiet now.
Congrats on your new apartment!!

Hello dear, I hope you can soon recover the joy and enthusiasm that characterizes you. Changes usually bring with them some sadness and melancholy, but they are passing emotions, everything will be fine. Keep on going. A big hug friend.🤗🥰
