Seed Preparation and preservation for next session gardening
Hello Hive.
Having seen how obvious it is that my veggies cannot survive this dry seasons and that all gardening activities must be halted until the rains come, I am trying to make sure that I get some seed from this gardening seasons in order to preserve some quality seeds to be planted next year. Knowing the challenges I faced last time while planting this regarding the poor quality of seeds bought.
If I could tend some seeds from here the next planting seasons will be stress free since I will have Harvested and taking care of some quality seeds.
These are what the veggies are producing these far, they are meant to carry the vegetable seeds within them
After squeezing out some of the dry seeds what I have here are like atomic sizes of seeds. The seeds are meant to be quit larger than than this but maybe thesame condition of dryness is affecting the seeds as well.
Though I have as much of it in the garden and will be harvesting them all to experiment the quality of seeds gotten.
It seems like I will be getting some scent leaf seeds as well. A portion of the plant have dried up and has equally produced some dried seed pods.
A portion of my veggies now have purely yellow leaves, they are not edible for consumption.
So today is all about seed Preparation and preservation which is one most important aspect of gardening especially if you won't be having access to quality seeds .
Good luck with the seed harvesting! It is such an important part of tending to the garden and making sure the future generations of plants are healthy.
