Selling and buying of fish as a more lucrative business.

Hello Hive

Fishing and fish consumption is not appreciated by many. People are more used to meat and poultry products.
Alot of people eat chicken and eggs but I know of a few sum who do not eat fish at all.

My blood sis finds the smell of fish nauseating and wouldn't even go near a pot of fish but I guess the smell of fish depends on the kind of fish.

Here is one of the types of fish I find very welcoming.
The cat fish is fleshy and with enough spices you can enjoy a plate of this.

Selling of fish is now becoming a lucrative business and instead of the regular search for fish with hooks and net in big water we now have people farm fish in small ponds at home. More like having a poultry or garden, you can grow and harvest fish. Our big water no longer contain enough of these to go round.
Most probably due to water contamination that has affected the water life.

I really do not know a thing about growing fish, the only fish I know is the one readily available on our dinner table 😁

What's your take on fish and would you prefer fish to either beef or dairy products?

I eat fish a lot less than chicken and eggs, but not because I do not like it, but because it is much more expensive. At least in my country (in Hungary).

I love fish! I love all seafood, including crabs, lobster and anything that swims for a living. There is something about the taste of fish that makes some people ill, but, most that were raised with it like it as a meat alternative. I would rather eat fish than beef or poultry, but, I like it all! :)

I would love to hear another time about the pollution problem with fish. I find the fish farming interesting. Nice post.

#MarketFriday has evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact of what is normal for where you live? These are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I can only hope this to be true.

Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:

Rules of the Road to Join #MarketFriday!

  6. Please only one post each week. Believe it not, I run out of voting power if you put in many more than that.

As always, please remember! #MarketFriday loves you!

Here goes another lover of sea food.
I just wonder how crabs and lobster will taste. I thought crabs will be crunchy by the look of it.
