Styling A beautiful straight dress

Hello Hiveians

Am excited to show us a new design we styled yesterday using combination of two lovely fabrics.
Cream is one of my favorite color and for making this dress we added a touch of black across the chest and neckline area to make it unique.

For making this we started with cutting of fabric and lining
Then stitching of the various different parts while ironing the seams in between
Next we fixed the zipper making sure that the dress is the customers exact profile measurements for a better fitting.

The black fabric was cut out as a straight band of 4inches wide across the chest circunference.
This was how it was fixed to the bodice.

Different types of stitching exist, some to join the seams and others for top stitching garments that the underlining will fall inside appropriately.

The sleeve.

Here is a different sleeve design we started using last week, it consist of a fitted base with a fullness at the middle.
The sleeve bodice is slashed into two, making the upper part fuller.

With all these done, our dress is completed.

Thanks for visiting my blog, I do hope you like the new dress.
