We are out , Picking Beans

Hello Hive

The whole idea of planting different beans specie really worked for us this year. We planted one specie earlier than the other and we equally planted them in different location. So it happened that one specie of our beans types was affected by the poor rain during as the downpour didn't last as expected and besides during the time the beans was flowering the dry spells affected it and that red small pea type of beans perished

Today we will be out to pick this other big size and white specie of beans. It wasn't affected by weather that much and it has produced some food for us already.

While working on our rice farm yesterday we got a call about the cow encroachment towards our farms. The herdmens are already out with their beast to scavenge on farm residue, although these are not only residue as we have barely started harvest and are yet to pickup our grains. It doesn't take those beast too much time to dive into a farm and eat up whatever they see and since the beans harvest wouldn't be taking much of our time we decided to hold on with the rice harvest first and pick up our beans from the farm

Beans harvest is not as difficult as rice harvest we just pick up the beans pods from the plant, gather them together and take them home for further processing.

It's weekend and we are up already and on our way to pick up beans. As usually it is better to get to farm early as the hot sun rises before midday making the weather so hot and unbearable to work under it.
