Congratulations to all my fellow award winners—truly, all the photographic works are excellent. Thank you very much, @monochromes, for the third-place finish today.
Well deserved.

It is a great pleasure to share this with the community.
I am just curious to know that if you are photographing another identifiable person and uploading the photo publicly to a platform such as HIVE, are the consent being taken? As getting their consent is the safest and professionally appropriate approach.
Since I have joined recently , probably I missed consent topic somewhere in previous post.
Thanks in advance for the reply and information
In my corner of the world it's perfectly ok to photograph people as long it's a public space.
That might change from country to country though, due to different privacy laws.
Some are tighter than others.
Generally consent comes in if you're using the image commercially, other than that you're just shooting a public space where people also chose to be.
I don't think that by posting it here can be considered commercial use, as you're not selling anything. You're being rewarded/tipped for your content.
At least that's how I take it. I might be wrong though.
One thing for sure.. I never saw anyone getting any sort of trouble for posting such images on Hive.
That's great !If possible taking consent by photographer will be good before posting as trouble doesn't come knocking on your door. Anyways, this community has reflected the viewers on monochrome images to view in a very different way.
Thank you for your reply 😇
No problem.
