I honestly believe that the ducks love me.

I honestly believe that the ducks love me, that is a good title but also a reality, near my house there are many parks that I can visit but there is one that is more special than the others because of its diversity of wildlife that we can find, there are many birds, insects, reptiles, but especially there are many geese and ducks, this time I focused on the ducks, from the moment I arrived I could see the mother duck with three of her ducklings and this is one of the photos that I liked the most of that afternoon, the little duck looks at me attentively, without fear and with a lot of innocence.

Getting pictures like this is not easy, I had to wait a long time and I also took many pictures until I got the ones I wanted, but the result is worth it, as I say, since I arrived I saw the mother duck swimming with her children in the lake, the sunset light was perfect although in a way it also complicated to take pictures because of the contrast in the light, but the show is worth admiring.

The mother duck was always on the lookout for her young, they would approach me with the intention of exploring and learning what the hell is that figure watching us in the grass! Well I guess they must have been thinking that, so the mother would come closer and try to get in the middle of us, talk to them and move them away from me for their safety, even though I was not a threat I understand the protective attitude of the mother duck.

After scolding them she moved them away from the place where I was, but it was an unforgettable experience for me, I have always been lucky taking pictures of these birds, although usually I can lose an hour or even more to get the pictures I want, and you could do it too, the secret is patience, move slowly until they think you are part of the ecosystem, don't make any sudden movements that may activate their fear and defense mechanisms which in most of them is to run away from the place, carrying food is not the right thing to do unless that is your intention, if you feed them so they come closer the only thing you will get is that more ducks come closer and the chaos begins, all screaming and eating, fighting for food, it really becomes difficult to focus and the photograph will not look as natural as when you let them continue living freely.

By the way I think I like the picture too much and it will stay in the wallpaper of my PC for at least a week, thanks for seeing the post, see you in the next one
