My entry to today's Monomad challenge, Ducks and Geese in the Park.

I know, I know, sometimes when I visit the park I get hooked on the animals that live there, like geese, ducks, deer, pigeons, etc, and since you already know about that obsession, today I bring you a small collection of ducks from the place.

Taking pictures of geese and ducks seems easy but it is not, and if you have never tried to take pictures of them you should start doing it, they are quite difficult animals, there is always the option of feeding them to make them come closer, but surely the pictures will not look as natural as you expected.

What I do to approach is to move slowly, one step at a time, it can take hours before they forget about me and start acting natural as if I don't exist, it's a challenge that I love because in that time I can relax and enjoy nature.

Don't look at these animals as something silly and meaningless, the truth is that it is fun to watch them play, fight, eat and occasionally dive for food, but undoubtedly the greatest show is to see them washing their feathers, in the coming days I will show some pictures while they bathe, see you.

I love your photos, coincidentally yesterday I tried to take photos of some ducks and it wasn't easy, it's nice when they look spontaneous 😁

The problem with ducks is that they move their head a lot, it is never still and that makes the photos come out blurry if you don't use a proper shutter speed.

Ducks are amazing. I have 3 Indian runners and we are just waiting for the great opportunity for photoshopping :)

Beautiful captures, yes, they can be hard to photograph. You did so well.
Love the light and shadow play in them too.
