MY OPINION ABOUT JUJUTSU KAISEN 0

Para mí es un placer traerles alguna opinión personal sobre alguna serie, película o documental que pudiese llegar a ver, para que ustedes puedan disfrutar tanto como yo a la hora de leer. Aquí y ahora, les traigo un pequeño "análisis" sin spoilers de que como fué para mí está película titulada Jujutsu Kaisen 0.

¿Eres fanático de lo sobrenatural? ¿Fantasía oscura? ¿Tramas de hechicería y exorcismo? Pues esta saga es ideal para ti. Un punto que deben saber es que Jujutsu Kaisen cuenta con una serie de anime basada en lo que viene después de esta película, por lo tanto, no hay problema que te veas está primero, ya que se encarga de establecerte las bases para entender este mundo y sus personajes que lo componen.

Una de las cosas que me gustó es que Jujutsu Kaisen 0 está animado por Toho Animation y el estudio MAPPA nuevamente, el cual suele a veces ser un poco polémico en su estilo de animación pero que otras veces nos regala un nivel de detalles impresionante. Y aquí fue así, MAPPA nos regala un apartado visual y arte demasiado espectacular para nuestros ojos, pudiendo apreciar la brillante animación en peleas que se deja detallar y no pasa fugaz, así como un nivel excepcional en cuánto a tonalidad de colores, efectos especiales y expresiones faciales y corporales de los personajes.

For me it is a pleasure to bring you some personal opinion about a series, movie or documentary that I could see, so that you can enjoy as much as I do when reading. Here and now, I bring you a little "analysis" without spoilers of what this movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0 was like for me.

Are you a fan of supernatural, dark fantasy, sorcery and exorcism? Well, this saga is ideal for you. One point you should know is that Jujutsu Kaisen has an anime series based on what comes after this movie, so there is no problem if you watch this one first, since it sets the basis to understand this world and its characters that compose it.

One of the things I liked is that Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is animated by Toho Animation and the MAPPA studio again, which tends to sometimes be a bit controversial in its animation style but other times gives us an impressive level of detail. And here it was so, MAPPA gives us a visual section and art too spectacular for our eyes, being able to appreciate the brilliant animation in fights that is detailed and does not pass fleeting, as well as an exceptional level in terms of color tone, special effects and facial and body expressions of the characters.

ACERCA DE LOS PERSONAJES / ABOUT THE CHARACTERS

Para darles mi opinión acerca de la trama y tratar de no hacerles spoilers, primero quiero que sepan un poco de los personajes principales que componen este filme y a quienes veremos durante la hora y cuarenta minutos de película. Porque no hay forma de congeniar con una película o serie, que a través de sus personajes, sus personalidades, su ideales, sus expresiones y demás.

To give you my opinion about the plot and try not to give you spoilers, first I want you to know a little about the main characters that make up this film and who we will see during the hour and forty minutes of film. Because there is no way to get along with a movie or series than through its characters, their personalities, their ideals, their expressions and so on.

YUTA OKKOTSU

Aquí tenemos al protagonista de esta obra, llamado Yuta Okkotsu, quien para el momento ambientado esto, se presume que tendría alrededor de unos 15 años. Es una chico tímido y con un miedo tremendo debido a que sufrió un encuentro traumático de niño, dónde su mejor amiga y amor de la infancia Rika Orimoto, moriría a causa de un accidente de tráfico y está se convertiría asi en la maldición que acecharia a Yuta por no querer que muera y llevarla consigo por siempre. Yuta a raíz de esto, guarda una cantidad de energía maldita en su interior, lo que sería de interés y peligro para muchos de los que lo rodean y lo sociedad, catalogandose como hechicero de grado especial.

Here we have the protagonist of this work, named Yuta Okkotsu, who by the time this is set, is presumed to be around 15 years old. He is a shy boy with a tremendous fear because he suffered a traumatic encounter as a child, where his best friend and childhood love Rika Orimoto, would die because of a traffic accident and this would become the curse that would haunt Yuta for not wanting her to die and take her with him forever. Yuta as a result of this, keeps an amount of cursed energy inside him, which would be of interest and danger to many of those around him and society, cataloging himself as a sorcerer of special grade.

SUGURU GETO

Suguru es el antagonista de esta animación, y quién antes pertenecería a la academia de hechiceros de Tokyo y se generaría una obsesión con Yuta al saber de su existencia y la maldición que este poseía, considerando como una de las poderosas y con menor conocimiento, por lo que sería la perfecta pieza para sus planes, ya que tanta cantidad de energía maldita, alberca un poder enorme oculto. Se dice que Geto fué expulsado de la academia debido a que una noche se dispondría a ser aquel hechicero que causaría una de las masacres más grandes, asesinando a 100 civiles no hechiceros, esto, debido a que Geto cree que los débiles solo son escoria y por lo tanto no deberían existir, por lo que se siembra un ideal de que el mundo solo debería ser para los hechiceros, catalogados como dioses, y así extinguir a toda la raza humana que no posea ningún tipo de energía maldita o sea hechicera. Para mí, uno de los mejores antagonistas que he visto, ya que su personalidad es oscura pero demuestra tranquilidad en cuanto a lo que hace, es fiel a lo que quiere lograr y no le importará quien interponga en su camino, ya que lo acabará solo para cumplir su objetivo y seguir recolectando maldiciones para su uso personal.

Suguru is the antagonist of this animation, and who previously belonged to the academy of wizards of Tokyo and would generate an obsession with Yuta to know of its existence and the curse that he possessed, considered as one of the powerful and less knowledgeable, so it would be the perfect piece for their plans, since so much amount of cursed energy, harbors a huge hidden power. It is said that Geto was expelled from the academy because one night he would be that sorcerer who would cause one of the largest massacres, killing 100 civilians not sorcerers, this, because Geto believes that the weak are only scum and therefore should not exist, so he sows an ideal that the world should only be for sorcerers, cataloged as gods, and thus extinguish the entire human race that does not possess any kind of cursed energy or is sorcerer. For me, one of the best antagonists I've seen, as his personality is dark but shows tranquility as to what he does, he is faithful to what he wants to achieve and will not care who gets in his way, as he will finish it just to fulfill his goal and continue collecting curses for his personal use.

SATORU GOJO

Para mí y para muchos, el personaje con mayor poder de toda la franquicia pero con el menor conocimiento posible al respecto de ello (ya que no sigo el manga) y el mejor de todos, por su personalidad y gran apego a sus alumnos. Es uno de los principales protagonistas de la serie y manga, así como también el que se convertiría en el protector y mentor de Yuta, ya que por medio de los altos mandos, es quien evita que lo ejecuten ya que lo consideran de alto peligro. Gojo, por ser considerado el hechicero más fuerte y más peligroso, es alguien que tiene mucha influencia tanto en los estudiantes como en su trabajo, por lo que será de gran ayuda para Yuta en esta película.

For me and for many, the character with the greatest power of the entire franchise but with the least possible knowledge about it (since I do not follow the manga) and the best of all, for his personality and great attachment to his students. He is one of the main protagonists of the series and manga, as well as the one who would become Yuta's protector and mentor, since through the high commands, he is the one who prevents him from being executed because he is considered to be in great danger. Gojo, being considered the strongest and most dangerous sorcerer, is someone who has a lot of influence on both students and their work, so he will be of great help to Yuta in this movie.

MAKI ZEN'IN, TOGE INUMAKI Y PANDA

Este trio de personajes se convertirán en compañeros de clase de Yuta y serían, en mayor medida, los responsables de hacer que su desarrollo como hechicero suceda. Maki Zen'in perteneciente a uno de los 3 clanes más poderosos de todos, Toge Inumaki quien sería el portador del Discurso Maldito, y por último Panda quien sería el más peculiar de todos ya que es un Jugai anómalo el cual gana control de su cuerpo por una gran cantidad de energía maldita que hace ganar autocontrol, y sobretodo para este, que está compuesto por tres núcleos que le dan esa energía.

This trio of characters would become Yuta's classmates and would be, to a greater extent, responsible for making his development as a sorcerer happen. TRAMA / PLOT

Quiero tratar de hacer esta parte bastante resumida y sin tantos spoilers. Y es que la trama de la serie se centra en Yuta Okkotsu, el chico que antes le mencioné, quien al albergar la maldición de su amiga Rika, esta lo acecha por muchos años de su vida, pero esta vez con un aspecto sombrío y aterrador para Yuta y quién lo defendería a toda costa contra la voluntad de Yuta.

Okkotsu al no poder controlar todo el poder Rika y no poder evitar toda la sangre derramada por ella al tratar de protegerla, es sentenciado a ser ejecutado por los hechiceros de Jujutsu por los actos atroces cometidos. Pero, entraría en escena Satoru Gojo, quien saciado por su curiosidad, le ofrece una alternativa diferente a Yuta y se hace cargo de el, invitandolo a formar parte de la academia de hechiceros de Jujutsu, dónde aprendería sobre maldiciones, categorías, control de ellas y dominio del combate cuerpo a cuerpo.

I want to try to make this part quite summarized and without so many spoilers. And is that the plot of the series focuses on Yuta Okkotsu, the boy I mentioned before, who by harboring the curse of his friend Rika, this haunts him for many years of his life, but this time with a grim and terrifying aspect for Yuta and who would defend him at all costs against the will of Yuta.

Okkotsu, unable to control all the power of Rika and unable to avoid all the blood spilled by her while trying to protect her, is sentenced to be executed by the wizards of Jujutsu for the atrocious acts committed. Aquí conocería al grupo ya mencionado, Maki Zen'in, Toge Inumaki y Panda. Al principio, todos estaban un poco preocupados y reacios al conocer a alguien con tanto poder maligno en el al estar maldito, pero tras convivir con el, conocerían su historia y su personalidad, tan solo, adoptandolo como uno más del grupo. Okkotsu al sentirse cómodo, por fin logra conseguirle un sentido a su vida, dónde llegué a valorarla y así decidir luchar por mantenerse vivo y proteger a sus amigos quien quiere. Sonará cliché, pero es una de las razones por las que Yuta, está dispuesto a enfrentar a Geto, y así, frustrar sus planes de querer convertir el mundo solo para hechiceros.

It may sound cliché, but it is one of the reasons why Yuta is willing to confront Geto, and thus, thwart his plans of wanting to turn the world only for wizards.

MI OPINIÓN / MY OPINION

Sinceramente me gustó en todos los aspectos, ya que la trama se deja apreciar y no te aburre, sino que trata de explicarte todo paso a paso, presentarte a los personajes y darte a conocer que es lo que sucedió anteriormente para que puedas comprender que va a pasar después de todo lo que va ocurriendo en la primera temporada de Jujutsu Kaisen.

Para mí, se siente equilibrado en el aspecto acción, comedia y relato, ya que supieron manejar las secuencias perfectas para mostrarte el relato de la historia, cuando era necesario el factor risa y cuando llegaba el momento de la acción, MAPPA sacaba su mejor carta.

Cómo ya les comenté más arriba, tengo una relación amor/odio con este estudio, ya que a veces trae animación sacadas de onda pero otras veces te regala una obra maestra. Aquí supieron cómo lucirse, más que todo en las mecánicas de batallas, ya que se dejan apreciar y aparte los efectos especiales que les agregan te la regalan un colirio para tus ojos, lo que me hace darle un 10 en ese apartado. Así que, te recomiendo ver esta película y luego seguir su serie en algún momento que sientas que no tienes nada que ver, a lo mejor, y termines descubriendo un mundo que te enganche.

I honestly liked it in all aspects, since the plot is easy to appreciate and it doesn't bore you, it tries to explain everything step by step, introduce you to the characters and let you know what happened before so you can understand what is going to happen after everything that happens in the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen.

For me, it feels balanced in the action, comedy and story aspect, since they knew how to handle the perfect sequences to show you the story, when the laugh factor was needed and when it was time for action, MAPPA pulled out its best card.

As I mentioned above, I have a love/hate relationship with this studio, because sometimes they bring outrageous animation, but other times they give you a masterpiece. Here they knew how to show off, especially in the battle mechanics, since they let you appreciate them and the special effects that they add to them give you an eye drop for your eyes, which makes me give it a 10 in that section. So, I recommend you watch this movie and then follow the series at some point when you feel you have nothing to see, maybe, and end up discovering a world that hooks you.
