Celebration of 'Serbian' New Year

This weekend was a fun one! Saturday night, I was with friends, and we were waiting for midnight to celebrate 'Serbian' New Year. It's just celebrating New Year by other calendar, so some call it an Orthodox New Year as well, as it's not only celebrated here, but in other parts of the Europe, maybe even world I guess. But this time, we weren't so hyped about it, as we couldn't go to our favorite bar to celebrate, but instead, we were at one friend's house. It was a chill but fun night, playing games.

I was more excited for Sunday, however. I was going to the mountains to finally see more snow, and also to ski. As we approached the place, we couldn't see anyone there. Turned out that there were only 2 paths available to use, due to low snow cover. They even had to put fake snow. It was disappointing, specially because I thought that we will not ski at all, in the end. We had plan B, but I was still bumped out. Problem was one of those paths was for beginners, but it was so crowded, and the other was a much, much longer one, also a blue path, but a bit more advanced. However, we decided to go, and I was super happy. Tricky part was, even though it was blue path, since there was not enough snow, on many places it was so iced it was a bit scary for me. I even fall twice during the first run, but then I realized how to slow down, and in which parts, and I was ready to go! It was great. But, I wish next time I go, it will be real snow, and less ice.

I even managed to take some GoPro videos, while holding GoPro in my hand, since someone forgot to take an important part of equipment, hmm. All in all it was good, it could be better, but this weekend in general was a great one.

Tomorrow, my holidays are officially over, and I am back to reality and my routine. Happy Monday and new week everyone!

Thank you for reading my post ^^

PS: And sorry for low quality photos, I have problems with my phone, so I had to use old one :/
