Complete tutorial on how i fixed my wall socket.

Hello friends welcome to my blog today is another creative Sunday on @hive-learners and toady i will be talking about how i fixed my wall socket that got burnt.

Today in the morning when they brought the light and my fan is working while I'm on bed, few minutes after which they brought the light i just heard a spark of light in my wall socket, which means it got burnt and there is nothing i can use to charge my phone and other gadget also there is heat, well to cut the long story short i bought a new socket and since i am a phone engineer i already have all tools with me because most of this tools also work today.

Materials used

The nut
This is used after you have put the new wall socket, it will be use to tie the new socket to the wall very well , without this two nuts the socket will not stay the wall and there will be difficulties in using it.

The pliers
This is an important tools in any electrical work because it will be use to separate the wires, it is not possible to use your bare hands to separate wire, also pliers are use to cut naked wire and so on.

The wall socket
This is the new socket that we will fixed to the wall.

This is called screw driver and this is what will be used to knot the nuts to the wall socket, it is used to loose the nut and also to tie the nuts.

The process

After which we have gotten the new wall socket there are two places where we will insert the wire inside the socket and the two are N and L the N is for neutral and that is the black wire, while the L is the red wire.

Firstly you will loose the nut 🔩 on this two places where we have N and L then you insert the black wire and knot the bot together with the black wire, this will make it really strong well and hold it tight. After this you will go on with the red wire and follow the same process too. Make sure it stands firm.

While putting the wire please make sure you are not using your bare hands because it is not advisable, even though there is no light don't use your bare hands holding the wire to be on a saver side, after all this process i moved further to place it on the wall while i use my screw driver to knot the two nuts i showed us at the beginning of this post.

Now that i am done with it I make sure everything is perfectly fixed and there is nothing left out, so I left it and waited for light to come because i was fixing it when there was no light.

After few hours of me waiting for light they brought it and i text what i have done and it worked perfectly well.

Here is it that I'm already using it again and I'm happy I'm able to fix my wall socket back without spending much.

This is how i spent my time working on my wall socket and i hope you like my creative Sunday! Welcome to my blog , hope to see you around and have a good day.

You just took me back to my physics practical class, I've done this once, and never tried it ever since, it's good to have to fix simple things like this at home yourself instead of calling and paying electricians. Well done bro

I like how you explained the N and L, mashes it easy for everyone to understand. Most people would have just said that they connected the wires and that's it. Good job brother.
