Educational systems: the past and the present

Being a student back then was one of the things I enjoyed most. Apart from the fun aspect, we also need to talk about what makes us who we are today.
Since I was a child, I've been taught the role of leadership. The school back then knew a lot.

The teachers were so dedicated to what they were doing then, unlike now. I could remember debate class and how they used to encourage us. Back then, I was someone who was too shy to face the crowd. Any small attempts to do that like this will make me start crying.

But then the teachers back then had what we called dedications; they didn't mind spending extra time with you until you got it. Unlike now, if you like, understand; if you don't, don't get it. Then you must get it because the teachers understand the concepts of special education and special students.

We were so many that we couldn't face the crowd back then. When my teacher knows I can't face the crowd, she starts working on me. She made me a team leader for a debate back then. My first time speaking in front of the class was so horrible. I was literally shaking as if something bad was about to happen.

Since the teacher knows this, she began to train me, and if you dare not mock people, they will beat the hell out of your body.
As time goes on, she will ask me to keep leading any kinds of groups I find myself in until I am able to face my fear. I can count how many times I have led the assembly. At some point, I got used to it.

This time around, most teachers don't really care about what they teach the students. Well, sometimes it is not their fault because teachers are really not paid well, and when you have lots of challenges, you lose focus on others.

I could also remember how we should be happy if we have a competition with the other school; even if you don't want to go to school, you will find a way to go to school because of the fun part. Inter-school competitions. Like racing, football, badminton, and so many other games. We are all going to collect medals, whether we win or lose. This allows us to have so many friends around each school. Now there's nothing like that. Should I say there's nothing like togetherness again because everyone is doing their things separately?

On the other hand, there is a new innovation that wasn't there when I was in school, and the thing is the usefulness of technology. It was not really rampant during my own time. I mean, children can easily access anything they want online; this technology helps to improve the situation and helps both the teachers and their parents.

What is to be done to address the disparities?

With the way that technology is moving and helping people, especially the students, if it is possible for them to also include what I've said earlier in the curriculum, things like being dedicated to the students, sporting activities, and so on, Togetherness of schools. This will bring good things to the development of the educational system.

Probably it has something to do with fact that teachers are underpaid in this generation. As a result of that instead of caring about the affairs of students all they do is express their frustration. Things have changed a lot, I remember those days when we used to go for excursion, such things barely occur anymore.
