MY PLANTAIN MUST GROW

Hello friends and family in the community of homesteading welcome to my blog i wish each and everyone well

Today i will be giving updates about the growth of my plantain. Some months back i showed a picture of my little farm and how little by little it's growing but today i wasn't really happy because my plantain refused to grow just the way it's always grow probably because I'm not around or there's a problem I'm yet to noticed.

And plantain is one of the things we doesn't Jokes with generally in my country called Nigerian even in my house we love it so much i can't afford thousands of naira just because i want to eat plantain, why not plants it since it's a gold 🪙 in our dear country. For so many years this plantain is giving us Joy 😊 and you know you have to keep what is making you happy well this is why I'm said when i realized that some of my plantain refused to grow well.

I went home today to check my plantain but to my surprised not all is growing very well althou i understand the fact that rain is not falling like before but then some of my plantain refused to grow while some were growing.

I'm yet to discover why it's taken so much time to grow because the last time i checked it was last 3 months At some point i think it's because the root of the plantain has alot of bush that is why i decided to clear it all and i did that today.

At this point i want to know if I'm been impatient or something is really wrong with my plantain.

I moved further to check my second plantain which was planted at the back of the house well to my surprise i found out that the plantain is germinating well.

This was the first i saw and it's makes me feel better we all know how expensive the plantain is now! Well if you are in Nigeria you would know that 2 thousand naira worth of plantain will never reach anywhere so it makes me really happy 😊. As if that wasn't enough i moved further to check more

My only surprised is that the place where this plantain is germinating is bushy that is there is a lot of of bush and then it's germinate very well, well to my calculations maybe because the sand which is planted is loamy soil and as you can see it's not fading away unlike the first one.
I just hope i found a solutions to my first plantain as i want it to grow back the way it used to be

Welcome to my blog have a nice day

I dont really know much about growing plantains but the little i know is that plantains needs water to grow well.
We are now in dry season. You can pour ur dirty waters on the plantain everyday.
Like waters from your watched clothes, even while cooking, gather those used water in a bucket and pour them at the root of your plantains. It will surely help it to grow well.
