The Parent's Role in Sex Education.
One of the most important topic to talk about is sex education, but we don't ever want to talk about it because we think it's not necessary. I as a person doesn't get to know what sex education is all about until I got tertiary institution which I think is not right.
All my life I always think getting closer to a lady will make the lady got pregnant, no one has ever explained to me what sex education is all about, I dare not think about sex or even try to talk about it with my parents till I'm more than twenty years old.

Now imagine a lady who doesn't know anything about herself, there are lots of young teenagers especially girls who has gotten pregnant because they do not know the right from the left and the left from the right. The moment they start having changes in their body this is when they need more guidance, but most of this girls do a lot of weird things, start having sex at age of twelve and do lots of stupid things. Most times it's not their fault it's just the society their found themselves.
For boys the moment they are thirteen upward they need to learn about sex education because this period they sees themselves as someone who is getting independent soon, they start moving weird towards girls. They need to know their penis can impregnate a girl. And on the other hand, for girls at the age of eight, nine and so on. They start seeing changes in their body and this is the best time to introduce all aspects of their body to them without hiding anything.

Let them know what menstrual is all about, let them also know what their private part is and if anyone should put anything inside it they will be in danger, they should know about pregnancy, they should be aware that no one touches their breasts or even their buts and they should not also do it for any boys.
I've seen lot's of young girls getting pregnant and that is because they are not been taught what sex education is all about, the rate of the young girls getting pregnant is too alarming. Meanwhile parents should see discussing sexual education as a normal topic to discuss with their children. It is so weird if they are learning all these things outside.
If they eventually learn it outside they will teach them the bad things about sex education and at the end of everything it will leads to what we do not want. So to prevent that we should start teaching them early.
In summary, there is no a particular time you can not teach your children about sex education because it's a very important topic to be discussed from home so they will not be mislead. You can literally teach young girls around six years old when they are ables to identify their body parts. This will make them familiar to their body and telling them a good and a bad touch in their body just in case a boy is touching them. This will prevent an unwanted pregnancy from young girls.

I can relate to the part about many of us growing up without proper guidance. In many families, this subject is still considered taboo but silence often creates more problems than open, honest conversations. Parents really do have a key role to play.
Exactly they don't want to talk about it and the children get to know the bad aspects of it outside
I also didn't get to know akit of things, l learnt myself and In the wrong way , so it's kinda something that parents should talk about not even 13 years old , because alot is happening in the country now and children are smart. Teach them with the right understanding to their age
You are absolutely right.
