One of the highlights of our Negros Trip was Canlaon City. I was elated knowing I can see the volcano up close. When we were on our way up there we decided not to go near because my mother can't walk far. Instead of going up near the volcano they brought us to the Century Tree "Balete Tree"

The tree was 1,328 years old as estimated by the care taker. There is also a nice cafe where you can dine and unwind. It is also good to stay because it's like you are in Baguio City where the weather is cold.
We didn't stay long enough because we were in a hurry. I just bought some goodies and water and also ate it along the way. Lol!

Visiting Canlaon City together with family is great.
