Before my bestie Manel flew to the US where she's been residing now for 10 years (she moved there after college), she really wanted to try Samgyupsal in Cebu. So, we visited her in her home in Vistabella Homes in Lapu-Lapu City. Since we are near Times Square I suggested having dinner with her there. The Unlimited Korean Samgyup named Mani Mok-o! They had two options: for the unlimited 1, it consists of Pork and Chicken and 20 side dishes and for the unlimited 2: pork and beef plus 20 side dishes. We chose the unlimited 2 since we like beef than chicken. I love the side dishes because I cannot choose which one I am getting because all the side dishes look good. After grilling and eating at the same time I was full. It was Manel's first of the many that she would like to try however due to the limited time that she has here in Cebu we were not able to do things on her checklist. Looking forward to doing it soon when she comes back.

After our dinner, beside the restaurant, there was a coffee shop called Toms and Toms. I ordered Hot Peppermint mocha and a dessert . The choco butter bread that has ice cream on top is a bomb. We only ordered one and shared because it's too big and also we can't finish the whole thing if we order one each. We chitchatted and stayed in the coffee shop until midnight because the shop is closing at 12. We miss this kind of moment. After college, we used to hang out in a coffee shop. Back then we also used to sing in a karaoke bar ( Red Box Ayala Center Cebu) where my bestie Manel was a manager there. A year after we graduated, she got married and moved to the U.S. and had kids.

CHOCO BUTTER BREAD with ice cream

We barely hang out or even partied at the clubs when she get home in the Philippines because of her kids but my bridal shower was an exception. I really appreciate that she spent time with me at my special event though she can't make it on my wedding day that is okay. She can't risk her job for overstaying here. I am glad and happy we were able to have fun while she was here. We may be apart but she's always in my heart. She's one of the people who trusted me that I can make things great even I don't trust myself anymore. Looking forward to visiting her in the United States of America soon I hope my visa will not be denied. 🙏🏻
