Hello Hivers! I haven't been active lately because I am so devastated , worried and anxious. It's been two weeks after the Typhoon Odette hits cebu. It's only now I can able to talk about it since the past week I am so depressed. Typhoon Odette leaves us speechless and homeless .

December 16, 2021 is my wedding day. The happiest day of my life not until odette destroyed my wedding reception but also our house that was built by my father. My wedding coordinator told me it is just signal number 1 so i didn't bother at all. The rain didn't stop from pouring, the trees were falling and blocking the street and the lightning and thunder didn't stop until the church electricty was cut off (brown out) but the ceremony didn't stop until we finally say "I DO ".

The priests anounce us the newly wed and signed our marriage contract and then "kissed" as now husband and wife. Even there are a lot of destruction and blocking our way to the hotel reception didn't stop me from going to our wedding reception in BAI HOTEL . In my mind this typhoon will just pass just like other typhoons.

We arrived in the hotel around 5 in the afteroon.We immdediately started the program because the rain didn't stop and we want to end the program early. We finished our dinner and also my sisters @jongcl @gwenfinity @eeventuree @sassycebuana @swaycanete prepared a dance number. We all have fun and dance in the dancefloor not until my wedding planner shouted earthquake even though there isn't quake. Our guests are running and looking for help which I can see in their faces but the staff from BAI HOTEL assured us that everything is under control. Aside from my wedding reception was stop. We were evacuated from the reception hall to another room for our safety. It leaves me shocked , speechless and emotionless. I cannot fathom why it happened. All I want is to enjoy my wedding. I was heart broken and I do not know what to do first.

Not just that our house for over 30 years was destroyed too. How can I be happy and enjoy my honeymoon when I all I hear is bad news. I didn't get a chance to enjoy my vacation that I was looking forward that day. I spent sleepless night to save money for that to happen but it didn't. Life isn't fair at all.

How could I get through this? My birthday and my wedding day that is supposed to be a happy day it turns out to be super sad. How can I celebrate and be happy knowing we don't have a house. My tea shop was destroyed too. How can i easily moved on? I spent all my savings to my tea shop and in a blink of an eye it was destroyed. When typhoon "ODETTE" hits cebu i just taught it will pass. For me, it's just another storm. But the wind was too strong and i can hear the glass from the hotel "BAI" where am staying was shattered. My neices are crying and my parents are also worried since we are all inside the hotel.I am trying to cope up by just going out seeing my family and friends.

Since I am now living with my husband. It was not easy for me to adjust. Day 1 of becoming a Mrs. wasn't easy it tested my patience and how to handle things like how i can deal with no electricty and living a different house without my mama. Everything was new to me. As of this writing we already have electricity but my body is too tired to prepare for the Media Noche. There are a lot of things I am grateful for the year 2021 ;Getting engaged, opened another store and getting married. It was indeed my year not until Odette wrecked it all. The Typhoon destroyed everything but not my Faith in him ( GOD). I know everything happens for a reason all I need is to trust in him. Manifesting great things ahead this new year 2022 and Leaving 2021 goodbye.
