The Hunter Call of the Wild - Two gold trophies in a single day [EN/ES]

I was really looking forward to going hunting, so this morning after getting out of several earrings, I dressed in my camouflage suit, put on my boots and called my dog Rasputin.

I was scouting the Norden area at night and was able to hunt several black-tailed deer but mostly females, also some female roosevelt wapiti, only one buck of each. In the case of the male roosevelt buck I was able to hunt, he turned out to be a silver trophy for his beautiful antlers and the clean shot I was able to give him, I love the shape of his antlers, too bad I can't afford to stuff him. On the other hand the black-tailed deer gave me a gold trophy, I had several weeks without getting one of these gold trophies, it turned out to be a dark gray buck, beautiful specimen.

Tenía muchas ganas de irme de caza, así que esta mañana después de salir de varios pendientes, me vestí con mi traje camuflado, me coloqué mis botas y llamé a mi perro Rasputín.

Estuve explorando de noche la zona de Norden y pude cazar varios ciervos de cola negra pero la mayoría hembras, también algunos wapití de roosevelt hembras, solo un macho de cada uno. En el caso del wapití de roosevelt macho que pude cazar, resultó ser un trofeo de plata por su hermosa cornamenta y el tiro limpio que pude darle, me encanta la forma de sus cuernos, lástima que no me puedo dar el gusto de disecarlo. Por otro lado el ciervo de cola negra me otorgó un trofeo de oro, tenía varias semanas sin conseguir uno de estos trofeos de oro, resultó ser un macho color gris oscuro, hermoso ejemplar.

Then I continued my way and I could see in the distance a set of white-tailed deer in a resting place, I gave the order to Rasputin to lie quietly in a hidden place, while I approached very slowly towards those animals, I could approach 25 meters, I used my bow, it is the first time I kill a deer with a bow shot and instantly, I am improving my archery level and that motivates me to continue using it. Some deer fled when they saw that their companion stopped moving and breathing, but others were just confused. I took advantage and was able to kill two more, but those I couldn't kill instantly. I had to look for them along with Rasputin through the blood trail, they took a few minutes to die and I lost some time, but it was worth it because I was able to get several bucks in a very fast way. They were all females and none of them gave me any trophy, except for the economic gains and the improved archery level, in fact I was able to place a new skill which allows me to better control the aim or pulse of my bow. I also bought a sight for my bow, something I couldn't do before due to my low level. I also took the opportunity to buy a better scope for my rifle with a longer range 16x50.

Luego seguí mi camino y pude ver en la distancia a un conjunto de ciervos de cola blanca en un lugar de descanso, le di la orden a Rasputín que se quedara acostado tranquilo en un lugar oculto, mientras que yo me acercaba muy lentamente hacia aquellos animales, me pude acercar a 25 metros, usé mi arco, es la primera vez que mato un ciervo de un tiro de arco y de forma instantánea, estoy mejorado mi nivel de arquería y eso me motiva a seguir utilizándolo. Algunos ciervos huyeron al ver que su compañero dejó de moverse y respirar, pero otros solo estaban confundidos. Aproveché y pude matar dos más, pero esos no los pude matar de forma instantánea. Tuve que buscarlos junto a Rasputín a través del rastro de sangre, tardaron algunos minutos en morir y perdí algo de tiempo, pero valió la pena porque pude obtener varios dólares de una forma muy rápida. Todas eran hembras y ninguna me dio algún trofeo, salvo las ganancias económicas y el nivel de arquería mejorado, de hecho pude colocar una nueva habilidad la cual me permite controlar mejor la puntería o pulso de mi arco. También le compré una mira a mi arco cosa que antes no podía por mi bajo nivel. Aproveché también de comprar una mejor mira para mi rifle de mayor alcance 16x50.

I was a long time trying to hunt a coyote, I heard it about 90 meters away making mating calls, I hid in some bushes and used the call of a hare in distress to get it to come closer, then I heard it closer, then farther, then closer again, I was like that for several minutes but I could never see him, I think I spent half an hour in real life trying to hunt him, until I got tired and left my hiding place to check the area, he was already gone, I could only see his tracks as they moved away, wasted time but that's the hunter's life.

I decided to go to another place, I was hunting in Norden and I decided to hunt in the Roonache Heights, I have not explored that area and I have a couple of missions there. To go to that place I had to walk a long way, from Balmont heading west since I have no discovered base in that area.

Estuve mucho rato tratando de cazar un coyote, lo escuché a unos 90 metros haciendo llamados de apareamiento, yo me oculté en unos arbustos y utilicé el llamado de liebre en apuros para que se acercara, luego lo escuchaba más cerca, luego más lejos, luego otra vez cerca, así estuve varios minutos pero nunca pude verlo, creo que estuve media hora en vida real intentado cazarlo, hasta que me cansé y salí de mi escondite para revisar el área, pues ya se había ido, solo pude ver sus huellas como se alejaban, tiempo perdido pero así es la vida del cazador.

Decidí ir a otro lugar, estaba cazando en Norden y decidí cazar en los Altos de Roonache, esa zona no la he explorado y tengo un par de misiones hacia allá. Para ir a ese lugar debía caminar un buen trecho, desde Balmont con rumbo hacia el oeste ya que no tengo base descubierta en esa zona.

That journey takes several minutes. On the way I could see a white-tailed deer in the distance, its antlers caught my attention, I looked for a place to position myself to get a clean shot, although the animal was alert it could not see me. I aimed for the neck and its death was instantaneous. Another gold trophy achieved, I did not expect to get two gold trophies on this day.

Ese trayecto es de varios minutos. En el camino pude observar a lo lejos un ciervo de cola blanca, me llamó la atención su cornamenta, busqué un lugar donde posicionarme para conseguir un tiro limpio, aunque el animal estaba alerta no podía verme. Apunté al cuello y su muerte fue instantánea. Otro trofeo de oro conseguido, no me esperaba conseguir dos trofeos de oro en esta jornada.

I hugged my dog Rasputin for how well this day had gone. We continued on our way to Roonache, further ahead an Elk was making warning sounds, I could not see it, I slowly approached the place where the sound was coming from until I could finally spot it. It was a female, well maybe I could get some money with her, I was aiming and a coyote landed right in my sights, I could not believe it, what are the chances that something like that happens, I stopped aiming and see if it was real what was happening and indeed, the coyote was watching me doubtful and making warning sounds, I changed my gun quickly to a smaller caliber rifle, I aimed again and as the coyote moved, I could not distinguish very well the parts of his body, I calculated that I was aiming at his neck and I shot. The elk ran away and so did the coyote, I went with my dog to the place and I could see the big blood stain, then I knew that the coyote would not get very far with that wound, when I turned around I could see him about 20 meters away from the place. I punctured a lung, got a silver trophy with it and the sum of $1300, not bad.

Abracé a mi perro Rasputín por lo bien que nos ha ido este día. Seguimos nuestro camino rumbo a Roonache, más adelante un Alce nos hacía sonidos de advertencia, no lo podía ver, me fui acercando lentamente al lugar de donde provenía el sonido hasta que al fin pude divisarlo. Era una hembra, bueno igual consigo algo de dinero con ella, estuve apuntando y un coyote se posó justo en la mira, yo no podía creerlo, ¿Qué probabilidades existen que algo así ocurra?, dejé de apuntar y ver si era real lo que estaba pasando y efectivamente, el coyote me estaba observando dudoso y haciendo sonidos de advertencia, cambié mi arma rápidamente a un rifle de menor calibre, apunté de nuevo y como el coyote se movió, no podía distinguir muy bien las partes de su cuerpo, calculé que estaría apuntando a su cuello y disparé. El alce huyó y el coyote también, fui con mi perro al lugar y pude ver la gran mancha de sangre, entonces supe que ese coyote no llegaría muy lejos con esa herida, al voltearme pude verlo a unos 20 metros del lugar. Le perforé un pulmón, conseguí un trofeo de plata con él y la suma de 1300$, nada mal.

It was finally dawn and I could see the tracks more clearly without the need to use the flashlight. I set out to follow the moose to finish the day, after several minutes I heard a bear about 50 meters away from me, so I put myself in stealth mode, I gave the order to Rasputin to lie down in a hidden place, and I went closer to the sound of the bear, I could not see it, I only listened to its warnings, suddenly I saw a big brown shape in front of me, it was the moose I was looking for, I had to choose, whether to continue looking for the bear or to finish with the moose, I decided to go for the safe thing and I shot the moose. It was the same female I was tracking since I killed the coyote, she didn't give me any trophies but I was able to earn some rifle points and some money.

This concludes my hunting day today in this game that I enjoy so much, The Hunter Call of the Wild, see you soon in a new campaign.

Al fin amaneció y pude ver las huellas con más claridad sin necesidad de usar la linterna. Me dispuse a seguir al alce para acabar el día, después de varios minutos escuché un oso a unos 50 metros de mí, así que me coloqué en modo sigilo, le di la orden a Rasputín de que se quedara acostado en un lugar oculto, y me fui acercando al sonido del oso, no podía verlo, solo escuchaba sus advertencias, de repente vi una gran forma marrón frente de mí, era el alce que estaba buscando, debía elegir, si seguir buscando al oso o acabar con el alce, pues decidí ir por lo seguro y disparé al alce. Era la misma hembra que estaba siguiendo desde que maté al coyote, no me dio ningún trofeo pero pude ganar algunos puntos de rifle y algo de dinero.

Así concluye mi jornada de caza el día de hoy en este juego que tanto me divierte, The Hunter Call of the Wild, nos vemos muy pronto en una nueva campaña.
