Nuevamente con ustedes queridos amigos de catarsis, como ya les he relatado en anterior ocasión, estoy sufriendo una lesión en mi hombro derecho desde la semana pasada. El día lunes en la noche no me quedo otra que ir de emergencia a un hospital tipo III que queda relativamente cerca de mi residencia, debido a que el dolor era insoportable en el manguito rotador del brazo derecho.

Again with you dear friends of catarsis, as I have already told you in previous occasions, I am suffering from an injury in my right shoulder since last week. On Monday night I had no choice but to go to a type III hospital relatively close to my residence, because the pain was unbearable in the rotator cuff of my right arm.

Desde hace una semana atrás yo venía sintiendo un dolor no muy fuerte en el hombro derecho, lo cual me sorprendió, porque ciertamente ese hombro me dolía en el momento en que empecé hacer terapia de la cervical del cual ya les comenté e hice un post la semana pasada del proceso de rehabilitación de la cervical, pero ya este dolor había desaparecido totalmente, pudiendo levantar en su totalidad el brazo. Resulta ser que hace unos días atrás una de las fisiatras del sitio donde me estoy rehabilitando me observa y me dijo que el ejercicio de las poleas lo estoy haciendo mal y que me puedo lesionar, me indicó que debe ser por eso que he sentido un pequeño dolor en ese brazo, cosa que ya me había desaparecido desde unas cuatro semanas atrás.

Lo cierto es que el día Lunes nos reunimos a las 8pm como de costumbres varias vecinas a rezar el rosario y yo con mi dolor aguantando hasta terminarlo; sin embargo antes de empezar el rosario mi hija me dice que me va a inyectar vía intravenoso una inyección de ketoprofeno con una dexametasona diluida en solución, pero me dió miedo porque ella solo es una estudiante de medicina.

The truth is that on Monday we met at 8pm as usual several neighbors to pray the rosary and I with my pain holding on to finish it; however before starting the rosary my daughter tells me that she is going to inject me intravenously an injection of ketoprofen with a dexamethasone diluted in solution, but I was afraid because she is only a medical student.

Mi hija se molestó porque no tengo confianza en ella y me dice que ese es su pan de cada día en el hospital central donde está haciendo sus rotaciones. Además ya me había tomado una pastilla Lyrica, una diclofenac y una de ibuprofeno que me trajo una vecina, también me coloqué hielo durante todo el rosario como una hora y media y nada que se me quita, al contrario el dolor era más fuerte, incluso era un dolor punzante, me imagino que eran los nervios que componen el hueso llamado manguito rotador; al terminar la actividad que estábamos realizando me dice una vecina que es mejor que vaya al médico porque ella sufre de eso y cuando es tan fuerte el dolor ninguna cápsula me va hacer efecto solo intravenoso, bueno no acaté su consejo hasta las 12 de la noche que ya era demasiado fuerte, me movía en toda la cama y lloraba porque no aguantaba.

Mi esposo y mi hija me sacaron al hospital , gracias a Dios que cuando llegué a eso de las 12 y 10 minutos ya todo los pacientes que estaban ahí los habían atendido, me pasaron de una vez, me revisan y me mandan a comprar todo lo que mi hija me había dicho: ketoprofeno, la dexametasona, la solución y los demás implementos para tomarme la vía, bueno y se podrán imaginar como estaba de molesta por no tener confianza en ella, me colocan los medicamentos y el dolor fue desapareciendo un poco, hasta culminar la solución y venirnos a las tres de la madrugada solo con un 30 por ciento del dolor, indicándome el médico que el dolor va a ir desapareciendo poco a poco.
Me indicaron pregabalína de 75mg, también un ecosonograma del hombro derecho y una placa de rayos X y que debo ir al traumatólogo para que me evalúe, bueno hasta ahora no he podido ir porque para esto debo tener por lo menos 100 dolares, lo cual tendré que esperar unos días para poder hacerme estos exámenes e ir al traumatólogo, hasta el día de hoy solo estoy tomando el medicamento indicado sintiéndome mejor del dolor, pero todavía me cuesta mover el brazo porque falta que siga bajando la inflamación.

They indicated me pregabalin of 75mg, also an echosonogram of the right shoulder and an X-ray and that I must go to the traumatologist to be evaluated, well so far I have not been able to go because for this I must have at least 100 dollars, which I will have to wait a few days to do these tests and go to the traumatologist, until today I am only taking the indicated medication feeling better pain, but it is still hard to move my arm because I need to continue lowering the inflammation.

En conclusión todo esto desencadenó debido a que me lesioné porque estaba haciendo mal los ejercicios de la polea y que además el día jueves de la semana pasada como me sentí con menos dolor viajé a casa de mi mamá y cometí varias imprudencias: la levanté varias veces porque ella está en silla de ruedas, le lavé sus batas a mano cosa que no debía hacer porque estaba forzando el hombro que todavía estaba delicado.

Les dejo unas fotos de los exámenes, la referencia para el traumatólogo, el medicamento indicado y del momento en que fui atendida en el ambulatorio con mi crisis de dolor.
