How are you all doing, I hope you guys are doing great. I am very happy to shear a post here in this community today and his all about my first achievement the the year 2024.

The current contest that just end on January this year, i participate in on which was all about what you plan to accomplish or learn for the up coming year, so one the thing i wish to accomplish to this year was to know how to sew a senator dress well and finally i was able to make this for my self.

It has been a challenge to me for almost 10 years back but i really appreciate God i can now sew well. I am really happy that i am able to learn something new, and like seriously i enjoy knowing how to sew a senator out fit, although i am not yet a master but i know one day i will get they, since it is something i determine i most know how to do it.

I will love to share some steps i follow to make the out fit.

I got a 4 trouser cut of a senator material which is 8 dollars, here is the material.

Firstly i took the measurements of the trouser and the top and then pen it down.
I firstly cut the trousers,

I bend the material into two, divide the waist measurement by 4 and then mark it out on the fabric, i also mark out the crush length and the curve.

After that mark out the full length including the bending allowance, then i curve out the trouser.

I then cut it out and then place the front on another double fold material, i make sure i put 3 inches bigger than the front ie the sewing allowers

I then proceed to the sewing of the back pucket and the side pucket. See photos below 👇

After putting the both packet, i then insert the zip with the help of sewing machine.

Finally i join the side and it turn to trouser, wow this is amazing. I choose to test to see if the trouser will be ok for my body.

The work was very neat. Since i am okay with the trouser, i then proceed to fixed the waistband and it was done simple.

I finally sew it round and also bend the arm of the trouser and finally my trouser is ready

I then proceeded to sew the top and everything was done successfully.

It took me about 4 days to complete the work, this is because i do the sewing when i am back from my main work
