Hicimos un pacto de visitar anualmente a la Sra. Teret, nuestra amiga y mentora en nuestro trabajo voluntario, para reconectarnos y ponernos al día. Nos sirvieron comida excelente y saludable de Batangas, como tawilis fritos, ensalada de helecho con huevos salados, verduras del jardín hervidas y chanos fritos con tomates y cebollas.

We made a pact that annually we'll visit Ma'am Teret, our friend and mentor in our volunteer work, to reconnect and catch up. We were served with great and healthy food from Batangas like fried tawilis, fern salad with salted eggs, boiled garden vegetables and fried milk fish with tomatoes and onions.
