A Brighter Future Is Certain|| WE Posting Topics #202

Good morning and happy weekend dear Hivers. What a great time to be alive and to share some of my thoughts about the future. Everyone looks forward to a great future no doubt. It is a tremendous feeling to feel safe in a world filled with crime, violence, chaos, hate, and discrimination. When you as an individual feel optimistic about tomorrow, then you are one of a kind.

The Future

I can perceive the future to be the next moment of life. It could be the next hour, day, week, year, decade, or ten. In this perspective, we are looking at the long-term of our lives, my life.

Life can be very interesting when you are in the right place with the right people and the right situation. I have seen many situations that bring hope to the future despite living in a troubled world.

In Africa, Nigeria where I am currently writing from, life has been a bundle of joy in the middle of a troubled economy. I know Nigerians may not find this statement palatable because we are currently experiencing the highest inflation rate ever in our history as a nation.

One of our musical Taliban, in the person of Late Fela Anikulapo Kuti, the legendary Afrobeat maestro, had fourteen such a time for our nation where we will be suffering and smiling. But despite all these, the future holds a better stint for us all.

I Foresee A Brighter and Rewarding Future

To say that tomorrow holds a better life for me and those who believe so may be a calculated statement. Having done a bit of hard work here and there, one has to look forward to having the result of what has been planted. As the saying goes:

Those who sow sparingly will reap sparingly. But those who sow abundantly shall reap abundantly.

As a person, I have been able to place myself to the needs of the time and season in our world. I have learned skills that would make me employable or my services needed by organisations and government parastatals. This alone is a good reason to say that tomorrow will put laughter on my face.

On the other hand, I can see that the government of the day, though not to be trusted as such, has taken some measures to make it a better place for all. We have clamoured for more reforms and the government has no choice but to dance to our tunes.

About a decade ago, earnings were very low in this part of the world, making it possible for young people to seek greener pastures in other countries where they are engaged for a lesser period of time and a higher pay. But in the recent times, when the government have noticed the trend of brain drain, both governmental agencies and organisations have taken time to improve on salaries and wages of workers while the labour organisations have continued dialogue on improved welfare for workers. That is a great way to expect a good life in the near future.

In conclusion, our young fellows who travelled overseas to seek greener pastures are funding big projects back at home. Some are even building gigantic farm projects where people can be employed.

You can see that life holds a lot of promises for us in the future. All you need to do is to see the good part of life and key into its benefits. Life is good, life can be better, ian indeed, life will be better.

Life is indeed good and can be better, I believe the future holds a possibility for us all, currently in Nigeria people do not see the future in it though cause with the current economy there's no hope for the future but then I believe the future holds a lot of possibilities.
