Sublime Sunday - Cords and Vocals

Music is one aspect of life I cherish so much. With the vigor with which I grew up loving music, one would have thought I'd turn out to become a musician. At some point, we received a view that musicians are worldly and lose people. Hence, the dream of pursuing a career in music soon faded away.

Any time I come in contact with music, such that teaches some morals or awakens the inner mind, I am excited to want to hear more or to even go all out to sing such songs. It will amaze you to know that some of the things I did as a younger boy were to a diary for songs that I could sing. The lyrics are written out so that I can learn them at my leisure.

What's Sublime For Me Today?

After a glorious church service, we were exchanging pleasantries when with other brethren when I suddenly heard the sound of the keyboard (piano). It sounded in an unprofessional kind of way. I knew immediately that some of the kids might have found their ways to the podium.
My eyes caught these two children meandering, struggling with each other, trying to claim the pianist's sitting position. Then, the pianist came along and started teaching them.

Before we knew it, a music class for beginners started.

You can see the joy as they punch each white and black key on the piano. The keyboardist had to project a video by (Maria) Julie Andrews Where she rode on a bicycle singing Do Re Mi in Austria.

The feeling of having a child that can play the keyboard Is a great feeling. There and then, I began to feel like it is not to much for a child to multiple instruments.

How about calling @starstrings01 to tutor these children on how to go about playing the guitar. That would be a very good idea. Some guys.love to teach children to play instruments of different kinds of musical instruments.
Usually, during the long vacation which is during August, some music inclined fellows set up a camp for music training both for voice and instrument.

This feeling is so endless. Some of us a wired to loved cool music. 🎶 A kind that does not rush the wordings but says them selectively.

Country Music

Dolly Parton does it better if.you ask me. Having listened to many genre of country music, I settled with her lyrics even as a child. There are kind of country music in my country that differs majorly in language but so soothing to the ears and soul. From King Sunny Ade to Evanelist Ebenezer Obey to Sir Victor Uwaifo, Victor Olaiya to mention a few, created country music of another brand that took the airwaves by storm during the time.

Other Genre of Music

RnB, Jazz, Hip Hop, Blues, Rap and from the African end where I wrote this, there is Afro beat by renown Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Afro pop, Akpala, Fuji, Makosa, etc. In all, music is just that sound that makes you giggle.

Music is life and it made a sublime Sunday for me.
