Treasure Hunt
As soon as the auditions were over, Avalanche Media announced the qualified contestant into the Fuji Reality House. Bola, Pela, Femi, Adele, Chris, Sandra, Monike, Patrick, Julie, and Jane were the ten successful contestants in the Physical Strength series, which is the third edition of the reality tv show. Everyone in Lagos, including daddies and mummies have waited long enough for the yearly show. That Sunday evening, when the sun was setting in the north, with a big yellowish egg-like appearance in the sky, they were all glued to their television sets.
Our esteemed viewers and honorable fans, it's going to be another twelve weeks of exploration and adventure. And our ten adventurers are ready to thrill you. ~ Uchendu, the moderator announced.
The ten contestants are good to go as they take their machetes in their hands and walk the path that leads to crocs island. In this show, their physical and mental ability would be the only criteria to be the last man standing to win the final prize of $200,000.
When the team reached the camp, Pela sighted a box, hanging on a coconut tree. He immediately knew that could lead to their first task. He quickly climbed the tree to unravel what was hidden in the box.
Build a hut for your comfort. All man to himself.
No one had had time to rest from the long trek before they all scampered to get sticks of different sizes and shapes to begin each of their huts.
After what seemed like a skill show, Bola and Patrick could not complete their hut when for the first time, their community gong from nowhere, in particular, was jingled, meaning that all of them should stop.
Men, this is going to be a time of self-discovery. Chris whispered to Adele's ear as all of the contestants fell flat on their backs, gasping for breath.
Uchendu appeared as their judge at the end of the first task and announced:
Bola and Patrick, you both could not complete your task in record time, this is where your journey ends.
They both were show the way out of camp while the remaining eight contestants were given a bowl of raw rice to prepare which they ate as night falls.
Throughout the week, the boys were just exploring the island. They went on fishing and caught a whole lot of yellow catfish. Then an argument ensued. Some of them wanted the fish roasted while others were of the view that due to the unavailability of spices, they should just cook the fish and have their peace. Femi, the most hyperactive of all the contestants, started talking down at Jane because she was indifferent about whether the fish should be roasted or cooked.
On the evening of the last day of the fourth week, Uchendu appeared to make the delicate announcement. Everyone had been asked to prepare their luggage in case they were evicted.
Hello guys! You have spent four weeks here. That shows a lot of resilience from you.
Uchendu said to all eight contestants. And then he proceeded.
Unfortunately, four of you will be evicted from the show today owing to different levels of misconduct.
At this point, all housemates began to look down, expecting their names to be mentioned.
As I watched the scene on the television, I knew right away that Femi is a goner for his behavior towards Jane. While I was still thinking, the television station went on a short advert and returned to broadcasting the eviction show.
Could the following housemates take a bold step to the front? Uchendu announced, then began to call the names.
Pela, Femi, Adele, Chris, Sandra, Monike, Julie, and Jane
The rest of you, take your bags and meet the only available boat that will sail across the island to the other side.
He then turned to Femi, Pela, Julie, and Monike and said:
This is the end of the road for you guys. Return to your huts, take your bags, and leave the camp, you are hereby evicted from the show.
Mobile wept as she returned to her hut to take her bag and angrily left the camp.
Whereas, Adele, Chris, Sandra, and Jane sailed on a small boat to cross to the other side when they discovered halfway that the boat was leaking and already sinking. Chris quickly made a life jacket from his tracksuit for the ladies who could not swim.
Gracefully, they swam to the shore. But this time around, they had no cooking utensils for the new life they were about to begin. They applied their initiative to build a hut and waited for further directive.
Uchendu did not appear until after the tenth week of the show. His mission was to announce to the final four that Chris is the leader of the pack and that the one who finds the treasure hidden somewhere on the island would win the ultimate prize. They have only fourteen days to find the treasure, else the reality show will end. The only material they were provided with was a map to trace where the treasure was hidden.
As soon as Uchendu concluded the announcement, the housemates jumped into action, searching for the treasure except Jane, who sat down, studying the map. One the ninth day after the announcement, Jane walked towards the big mahogany tree right where they docked. There she found a rope that crawled under a thick bush. She tried to pull it but found that it was hard.
Jane had no other option than to use her fingers to dig the rope. She did that and found an old traveler's chest. She found the treasure. Out of excitement, Jane shouted at the top of her voice:
I found it. I am the ultimate adventurer.
The game ended that day with Jane, who we thought would be evicted but her resilience and hard work paved a way for her.
What an adventure that was.
It must have been tasking especially when it came to the matters of food.
Jane took the smartest way to properly study the map before going on the search.
I think her calmness win it for her. Most times, we jump at what we don't understand and loss what we ought to gain.
I wish I could partake in any reality tv show. The experience would be out of this world for me.
It would be wonderful I'm sure.
Wow... Jane managed to makee it and became the winner. This Is a great story.
Indeed, Femi wass just not worth it
Jane was patient. That's the character that is needed to win such shows.

I just read through that piece and it's just so beautiful. Now, I get what it means to show an act than to tell.
I'm grateful for that reference.
Jane displayed a high sense of efficiency in reading the map ahead of others.
Her resilience and hard work paid off really.
This is an adventure of choice because without food they is a problem that is while Jane give full search of food
