The announcement delivered by @selfhelp4trolls for the #crossculture questions prompt spoke directly to me. Do I call it guilty conscience? Definitely no. I just felt it deep inside of me that I hadn't lived up to my first love for the hive. Perhaps I found a new love elsewhere. The love I built overtime for this platform has grown to the extent that I can't but be here for close to three hours a day.

This prompt is about to leak the real me to the hive world. I am nonetheless going to give this the right and best answers that are required. Now, let's see that @selfhelp4trolls got to ask.

Q1. What is something that you learned about the world from being on Hive?

I have learned a lot about the world since I came to hive. Despite our cultural differences, we have the same privileges to live. And due to this, I have come to respect and tolerate individual differences and perspectives, knowing that we all are not from the same socio-cultural background. This is one thing that hive has inculcated into me since I joined.

Q2. What is something that you learned about yourself from being on Hive?

Without being told, I have improved somewhat in my writing skills. You never know what potential you have helped you explore it.

Hive for me is a catalyst. I owe much on progress here to the @dreemport initiative by @dreemsteem, the captain of the ship. Before here though, the many experiences I gathered elsewhere under her tutelage can not be described with words.
So far, it has been a jolly good ride here on the hive, as I keep discovering how much I could do.

Q3.What are the cultural demographics of your hive relationships(20% Nigerian, 30% Western European, including Dutch German, etc. )?

On this platform, there tendency of meeting from all continents in the world. My Nigerian brethren are the highest I have met here. The Efik, Ibibio, Yoruba, Igbo, and other ethnic groups have registered their presence here.

There are also Filipinos, Pakistanis, Australians, Europeans, and south Americans here too. Hive granted me the opportunity to meet this special person too and learn how their cultures play out in terms of food, marriage, architecture, belief, and so on.
On average, I have met 25% Nigerians, 40% Europeans, 20% Asians, and 15% Spanish-speaking nationals.

Q4. What are the other demographics of your close relationships at Hive?

(hobbies, personality types, communities)

I do not peculiarities so to say for choosing my virtual friends. There had been times when I choose my close ties here on hive base of quality commenting. Some guys like @kenechukwu97 @projectmamabg are my very kind of friends who are ready to put your through any I cleared matter anytime you beckon on them.

Whenever I want to read a good post on nature, I'd just patiently wait for @sofs-su. She has the hobby of bringing nature alive each time she comes around with a post. @olawalium and sports, I mean football are synonymous.
#Theinkwell community is one place I have been able to exhibit my potentials in writing fictional stories. I look forward to having more time. @dreemport and the many imaginary post would make you think deep and come up with something that makes the reader giggle.
If @starstrings01 isn't too busy, Inwould like to see more of the newbie initiative of #smi-le community. That was my foundation on many of my friends who came in to give around April 2020 went through the #bloggingchallenge to be able to find our ways around the hive world.

Q5. Which friend from Hive has taught you the most about another culture?

The one person who has taught me about a culture that I was unfamiliar with is @amberkashif. One of such things I learned about the Pakistani cultural heritage for childbirth, care and christening can be found Here

Q6. How did you find your favorite people at Hive?

Some of the favorite people I have met here are in #dreemport, #theinkwell, #smi-le communities. You can't push #proofofbrain away from the list too. Some of the very humane people I have come across are just passing by and we met though engagement of @galenkp #weekengagement initiative.

Q7. Have you had any confusion, difficulty, or surprise when talking to someone from another culture on Hive?

My connection with people of other culture have been smooth, no confusion. This is owing to the fact that culture is dynamic and can never be the same for all people.

Once an individual learns to understand other people and their culture, it makes the world an haven of peace and tranquility.

Q8. What community would you like to see grow at Hive?

This is going to be a little difficult but if I have got to choose a community I want to see grow exponentially, then that would be #Theinkwell. It's here that I can really prove my worth and I would like to see it bloom.

This community is doing enough already in bringing up quality content creators, the admin are doing a very thorough job already but you know, the reward for success is more work.

You are already doing well on here and I'm glad to see you growing.

We all passed through alot during the demise of Uptrennd. Many couldn't get back to writing again. Those of us that looked beyond that issue and continue making effort will surely reap the reward.

Happy Christmas To You Bro.

Indeed the blogging challenge made us know so many people here in hive. Theinkwell Community has made me so good I'm writing articles most especially short stories.

@amberkashif has said more about culture.

Well done for all what you have made us to understand....

Are those women Ibibio tribe? I remember they have some kind of body paint.

I liked seeing the interest demographics you shared. I also found a lot of friendships started from consistently interesting comments on my posts. Some people really share their personality without being confrontational in the comments which makes it much more fun than other social media.

Dreemport! I’ll go check it out finally
