Choose Health, Choose Life

In our world of today there is so much hustle and bustle out there, everyone is struggling to make ends meet, no where cool thus what you hear from most young men, we hustle so much so that we tend to neglect our health. We overwork our bodies and systems at the expense of our health and then in the end when we finally manage to secure some money we send it back to the hospital in order to survive.

We need to choose to live well, we need to choose to live healthy and we need to choose life above all else. If you loss track of your health you put yourself at risk for a whole lot of lives complications, quality of life is based on how healthy you live, i can vehemently assure you that you can have all the wealth in life but if you are not having a healthy life you quality of life would still be impeded.

You may end up traveling from one point to another, one doctor to the next in search of a betterlife, a betterlife not because you do not have money, or wealth, or properties but because you cannot even enjoy any of the things you may have obtained or accomplished in life. Recently there have been news reporting of the death of lecturers and a friend did mention how they over exert themselves in their line of work.

I only shook my head and said they shouldn't kill themselves for anything at all, not the students and surely not he mother, because just as our elders used to tell us, we came to meet money and we will leave money behind, but we can have a self fulfilling full of healthy and goodness without jeopardizing our care.

Choosing life is choice we all must make, choosing health is a choice we all need to make and it is such that when that choice is made then comes the effort to put in to ensure that that is obtained or gained or maintain. Exercising regularly, eating well, getting enough rest, taking care of our bodies, regular checkups etc. I would reiterate once again, that above all else, let's choose to live healthy.
