Social support - Why we need to ensure that?

Think, how our life would be if we live alone, without any family and social bonding. You may feel many times that your family members or your neighbors are annoying. But on the other hand, you have to agree that we can't live without them. And if we talk about happiness, stress management and improving our life 'social support' can be a good option.

Social support doesn't mean we have to take help from others actively or have to depend on them. Rather it's more like an emotional attachment to me. It's like knowing there will be someone to help us in any bad situation. It's like working for each other.

I know that in this selfish busy world it's hard to manage time or even think about managing time became difficult. But we can easily become more supportive of each other. Let's see how!

  • Connet with people. Reach out your neighbor, do some volunteer work, involve yourself helping others in any means.

  • Spread happiness. Do random acts of kindness. We can make others day just by doing something good.

  • Ask for help. Don't hesitate to share your feeling, go if you need help. Don't isolate yourself in a shell.

  • Don't hold yourself and let others connect with you. Don't deny the social support if anyone offers you.

We have to understand there's nothing to feel bad about if we are the one who is talking helps. Living in a society, being with people, helping each other is awesome. There's no joy in being selfish, ignorant, and not being kind. Improve your social support system and you will feel a peace of mind for sure! Knowing there are people to help is a great relief, isn't it?
