A Community
A good community helps one another. The people in that community will work together and it will be finished soon. Whether it's being paid or not, depends on when the people in that community agree. Of course, there will be misunderstandings but a community will make things work out because the people have a good relationship with one another.
Just today, earlier, the Chairman of the small village asked the people to volunteer. The fiesta is coming by next week and obviously, the village should be well presented to everyone. From the visitors which is always be expected when there is a fiesta. Also, the people in that village appreciate the small village they are in.
At the fiesta celebration, there's a disco or dancing that night. It's the biggest celebration of a fiesta could ever be. It's the last day of the celebration so it should be grand. I don't know but it is always like this when there's a fiesta. It's part of our tradition that disco is part of it. Of course, people expect it to happen and that is the reason there's a big preparation for it.
So, early in the morning, maybe it was 7 or 8 in the morning. I saw the people were bringing one piece of wood a little bit taller than an average person's height. There's a bamboo tree as well because it will be used as a fence in the location where the disco will be held. Every household was asked to bring them.
After bringing it, the people will also be the ones to work. There's a fence you can see in the image. That's the use of those woods and bamboo trees. From what I learned there will be an entrance but sadly I have no idea how much will it be.
The residents are doing fences and at the same time clearing the location. After the typhoon Odette there were too many holes and broken pieces on the floor. It was a covered auditorium before but the roof was destroyed so there is none you can see for now.
This volunteer was intended for this. To fix it and clean the whole area. Though they just then included the monthly clean-up since they're doing voluntary acts. Who will do it since the people will be the ones to benefit from it?
