The afternoon is a crowded time here in our small village. You can see a lot of people going out, passing by and just staying while having conversations. The sun is now setting and some people are out of work and students ended their classes too. Even though I can tell why, I myself go out during this time because of the same reason too. Also, if you want to enjoy being outside this time will be perfect for you.

This scenery is not new to me, obviously about seeing a livelier surroundings. Since I started selling on the street with my small cart I've been seeing people on the street. That's why if you want to sell or if you're a vendor like me. An afternoon is a time you should start selling on the street. Especially when what you are selling is food or snacks.

Beside the corner, off in the road there are two of us side by side 20 steps away from each other. The other one has been selling street food much different from what I sell. Her goods are also street foods but at a cheaper price. Children and adults can afford it even if they only have a small amount of money. Unlike mine which is not easy to afford if you only have a small amount of money. Well, of course, the taste suits the price if you'll ask me.

At 3 in the afternoon, I started displaying at the corner at the front of the Brgy. hall. It was me who started selling here and the woman beside me followed when she noticed people gathered in that corner. Of course, she has more customers compared to me fairly because of the price. I'm not bothered by it at all since my goal is to earn a bigger amount despite the few customers. Also, I have other plans and ideas about selling more with different goods to the sale. I only have these goods but I'm saving to grow my cart in the future.

I don't have everything of course. There is something I don't have that having a small convenience store near is beneficial. I need this store to buy something that is necessary. Also, the stores have been here for a long time so people already knew of its existence. Thanks to it, a lot of people come to this store and at the same time it might be a good opportunity to encourage them to buy what I'm selling. It's not about competing but helping one another to earn a living.

I forgot to mention that my mother and my PWD sister have a small store. They are selling products that can not be found in other stores. Actually, it was my idea to start having a small store since it's the two of them most of the time. I suggested it for them not to be hungry and not go outside when they need basic necessities.

I bought dried fish, vegetables, and other basic requirements for cooking food. Even though it's just small and only has a small amount of capital it's much for them. We are not rich, so not spending money all the time will be helpful for them. I'm planning to buy some more for them but just couldn't because of the capital amount that I need to make it happen. Even so, they are thankful for it because they will not be having a hard time searching for food or ingredients to use.
