Bamboo Fence and Its Process
The fence is one of the securities if you have a house. Whether your house is located beside the road or far away. A bad intent people longers the time entering in your house. However, building a fence is quite expensive, considering these days. Still, there is another type of fence that doesn't require a bigger amount of money. Yes, a bamboo fence is suitable for it, it may not be hard or strong. It is still helpful in preventing bad guys from getting inside your house easily.
Now, if ever you don't have an amount to pay someone to get a ready-made bamboo tree to fence. You can get it into the forest, by asking the owner since it's not that much or simply buy one but at a cheaper price of course. I will be showing you the process of how to get it done.
First, of course, cut it from where it's planted. We call it an old one because that's the suitable bamboo to use in building a fence. It's stronger and harder, obviously, a perfect one to use. Just a reminder, a bamboo tree is itchy. I don't know what it is called that thing that surrounds the bamboo tree. It's better to wear longer clothes if you want to feel itchy when cutting bamboo trees.
When the tree falls to the ground, that's the time to clean its small branches. The hassle doesn't just begin because a few branches are there in a single bamboo tree. In cutting a single bamboo tree we use a sharp material or that one popular tool we call "bolo or sundang."
However, when it falls, we use a saw to cut it with the desired measurement. A hand tool saw provides a clean cut which is a good use to have a perfect measurement. We always bring measurement in doing so.
After cutting the desired measurement that will be used. We cut it into half first and then make a couple of pieces into half shape using a fence. This one is a bit hard if you are not used to it because it might give you a wound through the half edge of the bamboo tree. This process is what I hate the most because it takes longer of my time in doing so. I'm not an expert of this after all, so yeah, expertise matters.
The image shows you the half pieces of a bamboo tree after being cut into numbers. We always clean the front face of half pieces of it because it may hurt somebody. Although, it faces into the other side which you've seen in the first image above. You need to use a sharp material in cleaning it so a single small cut of bamboo tree will be clean and unharm. See image below.
The process of having a bamboo tree to be a fence is done.
Now, you need to attach the bamboo tree from pieces of wood placed earlier as the foundation of the fence. This makes the fences become stronger and tighter not to fall easily. Then that's the time attaching them all through nails but some use a nylon or a steel wire. Though using nails is easier in doing so.
