"Nothing is harder when everyone works together. "

There is so much difference in what is to be done in terms of numbers. The heavy work or the harder one will turn into easy work. Think of a heavier load being carried by a single person and compare it with many people carrying. I know the result will be obvious but let’s think about it and encourage other people to understand the power of teamwork. It does not only implement sports only but also in working things.

The year has just started, and the municipality of San Francisco decided to do “Brgy. Clean Up.” I don’t know the details but understanding its purpose, it was about cleaning. Not just our small village or a single one but all the small villages in the town. Led with the Brgy. Chairman and Brgy. Officials, they gathered the locals to work together.

It was a voluntary one, no one was forced to participate but most of them joined the good purpose for their very own Brgy. In every household, there should be at least one to participate or a representative to cooperate. The said event was not hard and tiring because the number of people working together offered fun. Also, everyone cooperated so the cleaning of the wide and longer area didn’t last long.

One of the targets in this said clean up was to clean the small river in our small village. There are 2 small rivers, one is the source of our drinking water and the other one is the source of water supplies for rice fields. Removing the grasses on every side of the river where the water can flow freely. Also, to have a clean river so that there will be no mosquitoes nesting in the area.

The cleaning had not yet ended after cleaning the two (2) river because the officials were planning to build a waiting shed or a cottage in that place. I heard the Brgy. Chairman said that every corner of the small village would have a cottage each. It said that it would be a competition so that in building a cottage it would be beautiful. I’m looking forward to how it will end well and I’n hoping to have a better small village in the future.

I became part of it because I believe that if you want to make a better place it should start from you or from the person individually. We cannot just rely on the government officials because not all of them are passionate about creating a better place; There are some who only care about the money they can get by sitting in the chair of position.
