Homemade Lomi

Learning basic food is very important to make sure you will not have a hungry stomach. If it's basic, of course, you'll expect cheaper ingredients. It just means that a fancy preparation is not necessary. As long as the hungry stomach will be full and at the same time it can be served immediately and easily.

Time is very important to learn a new kind of dish during an immediate meal. That's why I'm going to tell you how this food can be eaten right away for a minimum of 30 minutes. Before the procedure or the preparation let us first learn the ingredients of this food. Never forget that I'm a Filipino and if there are ingredients it's not familiar to you. You can search it on the internet.

INGREDIENTS:

¼ kilo fresh mickey
¼ pork meat
⅛ Chinese pechay leaves
5 tbsp. cooking oil
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 pc. of onion
4 heads of garlic
5 cups of water
1 tbsp. salt
¼ tsp. seasoning

PREPARATION:

The slices of meat will be up to you but I recommend you to slice it with a smaller size. Of course, if you are the cook, the decision will be yours. Just like cutting the garlic, onion, and also the leaves of Chinese pechay. I have an image being shown so I hope it gives you an idea of how it will be sliced.

Heat a pan for maybe 5 minutes or it will be up to you how long because it depends on how much fire you'll provide. When the pan is heated, place the cooking oil until again it's already heated.

Place the garlic and onion in a heated pan. Remember that you will only saute it but not fry it. Perhaps, 5 minutes is enough sauteing until the garlic and onions turn to light golden color.

Next is to place the meat and again you'll saute it. Saute it together with the sauteing garlic and onion. You don't need to use too much cooking oil since pork meat provides oil as well.

Maybe 10 minutes of sauteing the pork is enough. I almost forgot, place the soy sauce together with the pork. This is to make sure that the pork will taste delicious already.

10 minutes passed and it's time to add the cups of water. It's okay not to wait until it gets to boil. Just add the fresh mickey right away so when it starts to boil the fresh mickey will not require too much time cooking it.

10 -20 minutes of waiting and leave it boiling. This time add the salt and the seasoning. Place the Chinese leaves already together with the seasoning.

5 -10 minutes of letting it boil and finally the food is already cooked and ready to serve. We won't let it cook for long to avoid the soup that will dry.

Do not forget that you are the only one who can determine if it's delicious or not. The procedure will be up to you. I'm just giving you an idea of how to cook this food.
