Is it worth living when you're always worrying?

People want to live because they're enjoying life. Even though there are some instances where life seems unfair, we refused to give up. We keep on fighting and surviving to make sure something beautiful happens later. Now, if you're stopping yourself to do something because you're afraid. What's the reason for living when you refuse to do anything that you want? Why do you still desire to live even though you can't find happiness because of your fear?

Anxiety. For sure this kind of sickness in our mind pushes us not to do what we want. Whenever you feel like something's wrong in your body you will start thinking to be mindful of your behavior. You'll think to make sure you will not do wrong to worsen it. Just like going to a certain place, you'll decide not to go or else it will do bad to your body. Also, just like eating healthy and delicious food, you'll think it's better not to disturb your stomach for that new food. By not doing something you want makes you healthy. Do you think that's the best decision to have a healthy self?

I'm not a doctor or health expert. I'm just a country boy who is always observing the power of my brain and my surroundings almost every day. Sometimes I think I'm not normal because I keep on playing with my mind. How can I not when I just don't want to worry about life so much. I thought having a go-easy kind of thinking makes me happier. However, currently, I've been advising my mother not to worry much because the brain is a fool most of the time. Even though there is none, it thinks there is.

It worries me of course because she's not making herself healthy but sickening. I created a small garden for her to busy herself. I urged her to have a walk during the morning on the shore. I pushed her to go outside and to talk with the neighbors or friends. But all the things I suggested for her to do refused it. She's always afraid that it would just worsen her condition. She's afraid that the wind would provide her with unhealthy feelings. She decided to stay in the house and always mind her body which is very wrong for sure. That's why I told her, "is it worth living when you'll always be afraid?"

I didn't say it to be discouraged about life and of course, all I wanted was to make her think that it's worth having fun instead of waiting for an ending. I mean what's the purpose of living when even simple things to find happiness will not happen. Is it wrong to think that imprisoning your thoughts of worrying will just harm you?

As long as you will not do things too much to hurt yourself is fine. Fill the thoughts with happiness to have a healthy feeling. Don't ask for something to come by keep worrying about it. Stop assuming that bad things will happen for sure just because you're worried. Also, don't expect brightness when you keep on living in the darkness. We live once and it's a waste to spend it worrying instead of enjoying.

Hello author,

I can relate to what you been through. My mother is also is experiencing physical discomfort. Kabuhi, high blood and worries. I am not there to be at her side.in this moment of here weakness and that make me sad. Though we know why I have to be away. It's just pain when you are away and they need us but we can't. Just hearing news from my siblings who are there with her about the status. You are such a blessing to your mother, you are there. Yes I agree with you about there fears, she does not want to go out from the house either and afraid about her 'kabuhi' to kick. We can suggest but we can't insist. They are the one who experience the discomfort. They know there limits that we don't know. Maybe, they are just weak and unmotivated but please don't give up with your encouragement for her. Your doing great as a son. May your mother feel better and mine too. Thats what I always pray.
