Electric supply has become one of the essential needs of every human being in this world. Not just providing light when it's nighttime or when it's dark. Not just having fun watching around the world, I'm talking about television, mobile phones and internet connection, etc. Well, these gadgets are not that necessary, unlike food that we can't live without. The problem is when a water supply relies on electricity. We all know that food is just second essential to water. So without electricity, some places might have a problem in terms of water.

However in our small village, it is not a problem at all. With or without electricity, we are so sure that we will not be thirsty and of course, we will always have a water supply to use. Washing dishes, washing clothes, taking a bath and most important of all, drinkable water. The small village might be too small and does not have much to brag about to the public. This small village has the spring that nature provides.

Compared to processed water, this spring tastes even more delicious and so smooth to drink. Talking about clean water, I'm not an expert to assure you about it but I think it's clean. Imagine, right under that stone where the water comes out. Obviously, the water came from under the land where we are standing right now. Who knows what is healthy and what is not anyway when having a chemical ingredient of a certain matter is sure enough not healthy? I would rather choose what nature provides even though it does not undergo thorough studies and research.

So yeah, it was the weekend when the electric supply was out for the whole district. No one knows that this happened but I understood later that they posted it on Facebook. It's just that it didn't have many shares so a lot of people will learn about the electricity supply cut-off. Since people were not aware of it, no one stored water in their houses, for drinking and for washing, etc.

This small spring became busier and noisier once again. I remember it was after the typhoon Odette which lasted for almost a year that more people could be found here. Obviously, the tube under or whatsoever that could provide water supply was damaged due to the typhoon. So people did not have a choice but to put some effort into going here, to fetch water and then for other water usages.

From child to adult, they were found here doing laundry, washing dishes, fetching drinkable water and taking a bath. Remember the old times when the machine was not open to the public? It was like this, more people talking and bonding. Just anything, random conversations that smile and loud laughter could be found. That's why, yesterday's world was more fun compared to today's world. Instead of being down because of no electricity, it was not a problem because people were having fun.
