In joining the hive we all think of how to earn. We were convinced that we could earn but sadly not all the hard work would be paid. Sometimes a few cents and sometimes more but simply because we are not all born rich in the hive. Most of us started from nothing, like 0 power, and then just climbed to inspire ourselves, our friends, and also our community. All of us can tell the feeling when our post or content earned even at least 1 hive (that's huge.)

Though climbing the ladder at the peak from the bottom is not that easy and fast. It will take time to have that much amount of power especially when you don't have more money to invest. If we just rely on the earnings of our content, 1 USD value upvote will take time before we can reach it.

Then there's that time when we invited a friend to join us in the hive. He/She's just new and not so good at writing, just average maybe. Even so, he/she is a friend you wanted him/her to stay on the same platform as you. Though it hurts you to see his content barely earn at least a little. I'd been there long ago and I can tell the feeling. You don't have the power to encourage him/her or inspire to keep going. We are just human beings and being disappointed is normal to us.
