Trees

We are all aware of how important trees are for all human beings in this world. We, humans, intend to ignore it because we're not that bothered. We are too confident that cutting trees will not hurt us because there are too many of them who can provide us with oxygen. However, when the typhoon was pushing and pulling the trees to the ground. Not just a few trees are currently lying on the ground, whether they're still living or they already died.

It was after the typhoon when I realized how much difference there would be if there were no trees. It was such a bright sunny day at the time and the heat was burning my skin. I kept searching where to hide since when I looked around I couldn't find one. There were trees that were still standing but no leaves to shelter from that burning sun. I began to be afraid of what might happen if that kind of hotness continued. Fortunately, after 3 days even though it was so bothersome because of no house yet it rained. Thanks to the rain, the trees are surviving and it's obvious from the new leaves emerging.

Earlier this morning I took a walk and for the first time, I visited this place where most people came to visit. The part of this place was once covered with trees and it would be nice to stay here and kill time. The sunlight could barely pierce the leaves and thanks to the wind from the sea it provided a good feeling. Also, because of these mangroves, fishes, and birds could find most of them here. That's why it became a sanctuary years ago and people found this place a beautiful sanctuary as well. Not a paradise but it was a nice place if you want to feel nice. Currently, as of now, it will not be like that because of the typhoon.

It was so sad to see trees dying. It can't be helped but some of them have no chance to survive. From their appearance and from their current status that even though they're still standing, their leaves are drying.

Not just people will not have shelters for the meantime but the birds and fishes as well. Still thankful that mangroves didn't die even though the leaves are not fully grown for now. It's still better since there's hope by seeing how much leave they're providing.

Not just make it sadder but also lonelier by seeing the surroundings. Even though trees can't share or show emotions I can tell by observing. They are feeling like what people do when being affected by the typhoon.

Although it's nice to see that even older or bigger trees fell down. The newborn trees are still standing and they will be hopes for the future. It may take time but at least there's something we can wait for. It's not a man-made incident but it serves as a lesson for all of us that we should plant trees and take care of them.

Hello @mrnightmare89, happy year 2022, despite the current circumstances that you and your people have had to live. I really liked your post, because you give value to extraordinary creatures, such as trees; and they are the most perfect beings that exist on the planet. They are autotrophic and also generate so many benefits for the rest of the creatures and the environment, that we should always be grateful for their existence. I suppose that after everything calms down, they will be able to carry out tree planting campaigns to recover the forest population. I hope all goes well. Best regards.

Sec. Manny Piñol is giving free tree seedlings, I hope our province can get, and start tree planting campaign. I would love to when I get back to my home town. I will replant again. I heard our coconuts or also uprooted. We have to start anew.
