Worth Spending Place during Weekend
Without a doubt, the weekend is the time for recharging. Imagine, Monday to Friday of working, you will get drained for sure or maybe exhausted. So enjoying the weekend is not that bad of an idea. Still, it's a choice for someone to make, whether to stay at home or go on a trip. The best way to treat the weekend is to make sure to free yourself of what you want to do.
I happened to hear the conversation with these teenagers about going to a river. I asked them about the details and I found out it was quite far.
When I followed them to join them in their adventure I thought it was a bad idea. Starting from our small village, we walked for approximately 5 km and then hiked through a peak beside the river.
I saw a river and there was a water dam. I'm not sure what's the purpose of that dam but we walked through it to cross where we were heading.
We arrived at the next side of the river and again we started walking. There were children who were already swimming and playing as well. Well, it's fun to play sliding on the river, so it was understandable.
We started walking again surrounded by banana plants. There were houses as well there but I decided not to take a shot.
It was not far when we passed that part surrounded by banana plants. Our destination was visible already and I thought that was it. I asked them but they said it was not but when I stepped down at last, I saw where they were stopping.
Without delay, some children were climbing at the top of the river where they'd swim, dive and have fun. I was old enough so what I did was just enjoy watching them while using the camera of my phone.
Some of them were eating first before swimming. It was 1 in the afternoon and they had not eaten lunch yet. It was a beautiful view watching them eating together while asking for food from one another because some didn't bring food. Well, that's what makes it fun eating when you're with a bunch of people.
I went home first because my sole purpose was to visit this river to learn about it and maybe next time I'd be going to visit with friends. Even so, the water was so clean and clear that made me love this place even more. It was quite far but it's worth the time spent this weekend.
