It is amazing how so many places over thirty years ago weren't really that desirable and now have been re-gentrified and cost a bomb to buy. The change in places like Ramsgate down in Kent is much the same as what you're describing with Bristol. I notice it whenever I go to visit family down there. It's unreal.
Bristol is a beautiful place. I love days out there from the shops to the food/booze. The town itself has always had a really great vibe to it. Cool pic of the Bansky work btw. Awesome post @livinguktawain., was an enjoyable read. :)
