Hello #Needleworkmonday*. Happy Friday! Today I’m sharing some cute and decorative coasters in red and green—the most popular colors for Christmas 🤶—and since I still have some nylon yarn, I decided to make these. Here’s how I made them.

Materials//Materiales:
- Green and red nylon yarn
- Crochet hook, size 3.5
- Fire starter.
- Hilo nailon verde y rojo
- Aguja crochet Nº 3.5
- Yesquero.
Abbreviations//Abreviaciones:
ch: chain(s).
mp: half point.
mpa: half high point.
pad: double treble crochet.
pat: triple treble crochet.
aum: increases.
dism: decrease.
pa: high point.
pr: slipped stitch.
ch: cadena(s).
mp: medio punto.
mpa: medio punto alto.
aum: aumento.
dism: disminución.
pa: punto alto.
pad: punto alto doble.
pat: punto alto triple.
pr: punto deslizado.
Process//Proceso:
Green-Red
- Row 1: Magic ring, 3 ch, 15 sc, sl st. Join.
- Row 2: 1 inc in each space, repeat, sl st.
- Row 3: 1 sc, 1 inc, sc, 1 inc, repeat sequence, sl st.
- Rnd 4: 1 hdc, 1 hdc, 1 inc, repeat sequence, sl st.
Red
- Rnd 5: On the inner strand, 4 sc, 2 picot chs, 4 sc, repeat sequence, sl st.
Verde-Rojo
- v1: Anillo mágico, 3 chs, 15 pa, pr. Cerrar.
- v2: 1 aum en cada espacio, repetir, pr.
- v3: 1 pa, 1 aum, pa, 1 aum, repetir secuencia, pr.
- v4: 1 pa, 1 pa, 1 aum, repetir secuencia, pr.
Rojo.
- v5: En la hebra interna 4 mp, 2 chs picot, 4 mp, repetir secuencia, pr.

I called these coasters “Christmas” because red and green are the most common colors used in holiday decorations. I made them in no time—they’re simple and made of nylon because I still have plenty of yarn left, plus it’s durable and washable.
Little by little, my mini collection of Christmas coasters is growing. I’m putting together my Christmas decorations with these crafts—they’re fun to make and look great.

Estos posavasos los llamé Navidad porque el rojo y el verde son usados en la decoración de estas fiestas. Los realicé en poco tiempo, son sencillos y en nailon porque aún tengo mucho hilo, ademas es resistente y lavable.
Poco a poco la mini colección de posavaso Navidad va en aumento. Estoy preparando mis adornos navideños con estas manualidades, son entretenidas y decorativas.
