Hello #NeedleworkMonday Today is #TBT Thursday, and this project brings back so many memories of my childhood—this used to be my favorite ice cream. Here are the details on how to make it.

Step by step//Paso a paso

Materials//Materiales:

Brown, white, and pink cotton yarn.
Size 2 crochet hook.
Filling.

ESPAÑOL

Hilo de algodón marrón, blanco y rosado.
Aguja crochet Nº 2
Relleno.

ch: chain(s).
mp: half point.
mpa: half high point.
pad: double treble crochet.
pat: triple treble crochet.
aum: increases.
dism: decrease.
pa: high point.
pr: slipped stitch.

ESPAÑOL

mp: medio punto.
mpa: medio punto alto.
aum: aumento.
dism: disminución.
pa: punto alto.
pad: punto alto doble.
pat: punto alto triple.
pr: punto deslizado.

Process//Proceso:

Brown.

Basket.

R1: Slip knot, 8 sc, slip stitch.
R2: 1 inc, slip stitch.
R3: In the back loop, work sc in each stitch.
R4–R9: Repeat R3.
R10: 1 tr inc in each stitch, slip stitch.
Tie off, cut, and weave in ends.
Stuff.

Ice Cream 🍦

Pink and white.

Make two chains of 100 chs, sc, another round of sc in the top row.
Join each row and attach to the edge of the basket until it forms a cone shape.

v1: Anillo magico, 8 mp, pr.
v2: 1 aum, pr.
v3: En la hilera de atras hacer mp en cada punto.
v4-v9: Repetir v3.
v10: 1 aum de pa, en cada punto, pr.
Anudar, cortar y ocultar hilo.
Rellenar.

Helado 🍦

Rosado y blanco.

Hacer dos cadenetas de 100 chs, de mp,otra vuelta de mp en la hilera superior.
Entonchar cada hilera y pegar en el borde de la cesta hasta que quede la forma de cono.

Making this ice cream brought back memories of my happy childhood; my mother would always buy me one whenever we went to town. And that strawberry-butter flavor was my favorite.

The basket weaving is very simple and requires little material; the weaving for the ice cream is the most complicated part, but with patience and glue, you can achieve the finished look.

Haciendo este helado me trajo recuerdos de mi infancia feliz, mi madre siempre que ibamos a la ciudad me compraba una. Y ese sabor fresa-mantecado era mi favorita.

El tejido de la cesta es muy sencillo y lleva poco material, el entrelazado para el helado es lo mas complicado, pero con paciencia y pegamento se logra el acabado.
