Hello #NeedleworkMonday. It’s a pleasure to be here, sharing a more challenging project that I worked on for several days—I’d been working on a simpler one and kept putting this one off. But today I finally put the finishing touches on it and finished it. Here are the details of how I made it.

Materials//Materiales:
- Beige, black, white, and brown nylon yarn.
- Size 2 crochet hook
- Hilo nailon beige, negro, blanco y marrón.
- Aguja crochet Nº 2
Abbreviations//Abreviaciones:
ch: chain(s).
mp: half point.
mpa: half high point.
pad: double treble crochet.
pat: triple treble crochet.
aum: increases.
dism: decrease.
pa: high point.
pr: slipped stitch.
ch: cadena(s).
mp: medio punto.
mpa: medio punto alto.
aum: aumento.
dism: disminución.
pa: punto alto.
pad: punto alto doble.
pat: punto alto triple.
pr: punto deslizado.
Process//Proceso:
Beige.
Base.
- Work 12 cm of chain stitches, 10 single crochet, 3 single crochet together, 10 single crochet; repeat until you have 15 rows. 5 cm x 20 cm.
Strip 1. Beige.
- 11 rows of single crochet.
Strip 2. Black.
- 11 rows of single crochet.
Strip 3. White.
- 5 rows of single crochet.
Strip 4. Brown.
- 5 rows of single crochet.
Strip 5. Beige.
- 11 rounds of single crochet.
Strip 6. Black.
- 11 rounds of single crochet.
Tie off, cut, and weave in the ends, using the tapestry needle to seal the ends.
Flap.
Beige.
- Chain 12, 10 single crochet, 3 single crochet together, 10 single crochet, 1 chain, turn.
- Repeat until you have a strip.
Black.
- Work 4 rounds of single crochet.
White.
- Work 4 rounds of single crochet.
Brown.
- Work 6 rounds of single crochet.
- On the 5th round, in the center, make a buttonhole as follows: skip 4 stitches, and continue with single crochet for the rest.
Handle or cord.
Beige.
- Chain 4, 3 single crochet, chain 3, turn, 1 slip stitch, single crochet, chain 3, turn, repeat until the piece measures 90 cm.
Then sew the flap to the top of the bag using slip stitches. Finally, sew on a knitted button. I sewed the cord to the sides.

- Hacer 12 cm de chs, 10 mp, 3 mp juntos, 10 mp, repetir hasta tener 15 vueltas. 5 cm x 20 cm.
Franja 1. Beige.
- 11 vueltas de mp.
Franja 2. Negro.
- 11 vueltas de mp.
Franja 3. Blanco.
- 05 vueltas de mp.

- 11 vueltas de mp.
Franja 6. Negro.
- 11 vueltas de mp.
Anudar,cortar y ocultar hilo, usando el yesquero para el sellado.
Solapa.
Beige.
- Se hacen 12 chs, 10 mp, 3 mp juntos,10 mp, 1 ch, girar.
- Repetir hasta tener una franja.
Negro.
- Hacer 04 vueltas de mp.
Blanco.
- Hacer 04 vueltas de mp.
Marrón.
- Hacer 06 vueltas de mp.
- En la 5ta vuelta en el centro se hace un ojal de la siguiente forma, se saltan 04 espacios, y seguimos con mp el resto.
Asa o cordón.
Beige.
- Hacer 4 chs, 3 mp, 3 chs girar tejido, 1 pa punto relive, pa, 3 chs, girar, repitiendo hasta tener 90 cms.
Luego la solapa se cose con punto deslizado pr en la parte superior del bolso. Y para terminar cosemos un botón tejido. Cosí a los lados el cordón.

I finally managed to finish this project; it took me a long time to knit it in between doing household chores. Dimensions: 22 x 20 x 6 cm.
This bag is for me, because the one I have is very worn and faded.
I love working with nylon yarn because it’s durable and washable.

Por fin logré terminar este proyecto, duré mucho tiempo tejiendo entre cada labor de hogar. Mide: 22 x 20 x 6 cm.
Este bolso es para mi, porque el que tengo está muy usado y descolorido.
Me encanta trabajar con el hilo de nailon porque es duradero y lavable.
