We have known this song for many years and it is always present when we sit down to practice or to joke with the guitar, it is a very old song that does justice to the good music of times that we consider better; in fact once we shared a Spanish version performed by the late Juan Gabriel, it was several months ago so we forget what week it was. This time we bring the English version which is the original which was performed by the American band Creedence Clearwater Revival, this band was very famous in the 60s.

We consider that this song is a bridge between those times in which the music was getting stronger and bands abounded and the current times, not precisely because the music that is made today is similar, but because it makes those who were born after 2000 see that it is possible to do wonderful things musically, with good lyrics and good melodies; we believe without a doubt that this song represents a kind of union between generations.

Tenemos muchos años conociendo esta canción y siempre está presente cuando nos sentamos a practicar o a bromear con la guitarra, es una muy antigua y que hace justicia a la buena música de tiempos que consideramos mejores; de hecho en una oportunidad compartimos una versión en español interpretada por el fallecido Juan Gabriel, fue hace varios meses así que olvidamos en que semana fue. Esta vez traemos la versión en inglés que es la original la cual fue interpretada por la banda estadounidense Creedence Clearwater Revival, esta banda fue muy famosa en la década de los 60.

Nosotros consideramos que esta canción es un puente entre esos tiempos en los que la música se hacía cada vez mas fuerte y las banda abundaban y los tiempos actuales, no precisamente porque la música que se hace hoy en día sea parecida, sino que hace ver a quienes nacieron luego de los 2000 que es posible hacer cosas maravillosas musicalmente, con buenas letras y buenas melodías; creemos sin lugar a dudas que ésta canción representa una especie de unión entre generaciones.
