Hola mis queridos amigos de la gran comunidad de #Hive en General, como ya me conocen les habla @Musicmeister y les deseo un gran saludos a todos. Apartando un poco el tema de la mecánica de moto, en el día de hoy les vengo a traer un tutorial de como teñir una ropa de tela tan solo usando una sustancia para "colorearla" nuevamente.

Putting aside the topic of motorcycle mechanics a bit, today I have come to bring you a tutorial on how to dye a cloth garment just using a substance to "color" it again.
INTRODUCCIÓN // INTRODUCTION
Se trata de una sustancia química en forma de polvo, denominado de nombre: "Viki Viki", contenido en un sobre plástico, que sirve para pintar/colorear nuestra prenda de ropa, con la finalidad de retornar nuevamente su color. Éste colorante es aplicado para aquellas prendas de ropas que presentan desgastes en su color de textura, es decir que ya estén descolorizadas ya bien sea por el maltrato del sol o de tanto lavarlo.
It is a chemical substance in powder form, called by name: "Viki Viki", contained in a plastic envelope, which is used to paint / color our garment, in order to return its color again. This colorant is applied to those garments that show wear in their texture color, that is to say that they are already discolored either by the mistreatment of the sun or from so much washing.

Hace unos cuántos años, compré un camisa tipo Chemise color negra, y un pantalón de tela gris, que al pasar de los años, estos fueron descolorizándose, ya que con la chemise me tiré en un charco de cancha de obstáculo mientras realizaba un entrenamiento Policial y por suerte la arena tenía sal, y por otro lado el pantalón se descolorizó con el tiempo del uso. Un día decidí teñirlos para que estos luzcan nuevamente elegantes y se vean bien bonitos, pero no antes lo hice con imágenes para explicarles y enseñarles a todos ustedes de como hacerlo, para que también puedan recuperar sus prendas descolorizadas.
A few years ago, I bought a black Chemise-type shirt and gray fabric pants, which over the years, these were discolored, since with the chemise I threw myself in a puddle of obstacle course while doing a Police training and luckily the sand had salt, and on the other hand the pants discolored with time of use. One day I decided to dye them so that they look elegant again and look very pretty, but not before I did it with images to explain and teach all of you how to do it, so that you can also recover your discolored garments.

Primero debemos que saber que esta sustancia de colorante sirve para teñir de ropa tela tipo Jean, algodón, chemise y no tela tipo licra o sudaderas, además de que solamente nos servirá para teñir ropas de unsolo color. Dentro de esta sustancia existen varios sobres de colores en la cuál tenemos disponibilidad e elegir dependiendo del color de nuestra ropa, pero entre ellas los dos sobres más usado son el NEGRO y AZUL:

En éste caso trabajé con un Viki Viki de color negro, para teñir una Chemise color negra y un pantalón color gris que aunque sea de otro color a la sustancia que utilicé de igual forma agarró se logró teñir bien.
In this case, I worked with a black Viki Viki, to dye a black Chemise and gray pants that, even if it was a different color to the substance I used, was still able to dye well.

NOTA // NOTE
En la respectiva imagen son las prendas que utilizaré a continuación para teñir, según las instrucciones del sobre indican que pueden teñir hasta un (01) Kilogramos de ropa, pero mi recomendación personal les surgiero utilizar un sobre por cada prenda de ropa si se trata de colores oscuros, por ejemplo azul o negro. En este caso utilizaré un sobre por dos (02) prendas que también es efectiva, es decir menos de un (01) kilogramos de ropa.
In the respective image are the garments that I will use next to dye, according to the instructions on the envelope they indicate that they can dye up to one (01) Kilograms of clothing, but my personal recommendation is to use an envelope for each garment of clothing if it is about dark colors, for example blue or black. In this case I will use an envelope for two (02) garments that is also effective, that is, less than one (01) kilograms of clothing.
- Ubicamos nuestro recipiente de olla y la llenamos de agua. (No llenar hasta al tope ya que al introducir nuestras prendas, esta se podrá desbordar el agua).
- We locate our pot container and fill it with water. (Do not fill to the top since when introducing our garments, the water may overflow).
- Nos llevamos el recipiente de olla a la cocina y comenzamos a hervir con la llamada un poco alta hasta que llegue a su punto de ebullición (Puede tardar varios minutos).
- We take the pot container to the kitchen and start to boil with the call a little high until it reaches its boiling point (It may take several minutes)
- Una vez que tengamos el agua a su punto de ebullición, tomamos nuestro sobre, lo abrimos y echamos el polvo dentro del recipiente de olla.
- Once we have the water at its boiling point, we take our envelope, open it and pour the powder into the pot container.
- Luego tomamos nuestra cuchara de sopa y agarramos una cucharada de sal y la echamos dentro del recipiente de olla y comenzamos a menear el líquido.
Nota: Según las instrucciones indicada en el sobre establece que se deben de echar dos cucharadas de sal cuándo se trata de 1 kg de ropa, pero en mi caso como no sobrepaso el kilogramos, eché tan sola una cucharada de sal.
- Then we take our soup spoon and take a tablespoon of salt and pour it into the pot container and begin to stir the liquid.
Note: According to the instructions on the envelope, it states that you should add two tablespoons of salt when it comes to 1 kg of clothes, but in my case, since I do not exceed one kilogram, I only added one tablespoon of salt.
- Luego tomamos nuestra ponchera, valde o cualquiera recipiente capaz de contener agua para enjaguar nuestra ropa. (Solo agua)
- Then we take our punch bowl, wallet or any container capable of holding water to rinse our clothes. (Just water)
- Tomamos nuestra ropa y la introducimos sin doblarla, es decir; introduciremos nuestra ropa toda completa, poco a poco hasta que sumerga dentro del recipiento de olla, luego tomaremos nuestro tenedor grande y la vamos empujando a fondo hasta que sumerga por completo. (Si tienes guantes de protección, úsalos, para evitar el calentamiento del tenedor)
- We take our clothes and we introduce them without folding them, that is to say; We will introduce our clothes all complete, little by little until they submerge inside the pot container, then we will take our large fork and we will push it fully until it is completely submerged. (If you have protective gloves, wear them, to avoid heating the fork)
- Una vez que hemos sumergido nuestra ropa en el recipiente de olla, tomamos un reloj o teléfono móvil y lo programamos para colocar cronómetro, iniciemos hasta un tiempo de 45 minutos.
- Once we have submerged our clothes in the pot container, we take a watch or mobile phone and we program it to set a timer, let's start up to a time of 45 minutes.
- Le bajamos la llama a la cocina y la dejamos un poco baja, como se muestra en la siguiente imagen:
- We lower the flame to the kitchen and leave it a little low, as shown in the following image:
- Posteriormente a medida que se baja cocinando nuestros elementos que tenemos dentro de la oya, tomamos nuestro tenedor grande y vamos emergiendo y sumergiendo nuestra ropa, este proceso lo podemos ir haciendo cada 5 a 10 minutos a medidas que se vaya cocinando, como se demuestra a continuación:

- Una vez transcurrido los 45 minutos, apagamos nuestra cocina.
- After 45 minutes, we turn off our kitchen.
- Tomamos un trapo y sostenemos el recipiente de olla de tal forma para evitar quemarnos y lo sacamos a un espacio donde no nos estorbe. En mi caso lo saqué al aire libre.
- We take a cloth and hold the pot container in such a way to avoid burning ourselves and we remove it to a space where it does not interfere with us. In my case I took it outdoors.
- Una vez teniendo el recipiente de olla afuera, tomamos nuevamente nuestro tenedor y repetimos nuestro procesor de sumergir y emergir.
- Once we have the pot container outside, we take our fork again and repeat our process of dipping and emerging.
- Luego de realizar el proceso, dejamos que la ropa sumergida vuelva a reposar unos 30 minutos y una vez transcurrido el tiempo, tomamos nuestra ponchera, la llenamos de agua y comenzamos a enjaguarla.
- After carrying out the process, we let the submerged clothes rest for about 30 minutes and once the time has elapsed, we take our punch bowl, fill it with water and begin to rinse it.
- Es normal que a medida de que vayamos enjuagando nuestra ropa,el agua se tornará del color del Viki Viki que hayamos usados, en este caso color negro porque utilicé color negro, esto es normal, no hay de que preocuparse por si piensan que la ropa se descolorizará nuevamente.
- It is normal that as we rinse our clothes, the water will turn the color of the Viki Viki that we have used, in this case black because I used black, this is normal, there is no need to worry about whether they think that the clothes it will fade again.
- Una vez terminanada de enjaguar y exprimir bien nuestra ropa, tomamos los ganchos de ropa, la sostenemos en ella y la colocamos al aire libre, para que se seque sin que le pegue el sol y esperar durante unas 12 horas (En mi caso el proceso lo terminé de noche, de tal forma los dejé puesto en el lugar y esperé al otro día a esperar que se seque por completo).
- Once we have finished rinsing and squeezing our clothes well, we take the clothespins, hold them in it and place them in the open air, so that they dry without the sun hitting them and wait for about 12 hours (In my case the process I finished it at night, in such a way I left them in place and waited the next day to wait for it to dry completely).
RESULTADOS // RESULTS
- Como verán desde un principio las fotografías no están buenas como se lo esperaban, la verdad pido disculpa por eso, pero me enfocaré en poder conseguir una cámara mejor para los próximos post, pero las respectivas imágenes que ven sobre éste tutorial si dió muy buenos resultados, mis prendas de ropa quedaron muy bien colorizadas, aquí dejaré unas imágenes comparadas del antes y después.
- As you will see from the beginning, the photographs are not good as expected, the truth is, I apologize for that, but I will focus on being able to get a better camera for the next post, but the respective images that you see on this tutorial did give very good results. , my clothes were very well colored, here I will leave some compared images of the before and after.

Omg ! this brings back so many memories, does that product still exist, my god I remember joking a lot with it, because when I started to get grey hair, I used to say that I would paint them with viki viki hahahaha.
You explain the whole process very well with the pictures. Although it is very noticeable on clothes painted with viki viki, it is an option for clothes that have lost color.
