Hoy traigo un capitulo nuevo sobre esta serie de guias en las que hablo sobre los rulesets del juego, como jugar cuando aparecen, que cartas sirven mas o menos y sobre todo como mejorar tu winrate en las partidas que tienen este ruleset. Hoy elegí uno que aparece seguido en las batallas y que a simple vista parece simple pero todo lo contrario, cambia por completo una partida. Hoy hablaremos del Ruleset EQUALIZER. ¿estas listo? ¡Comencemos!

Hello everyone and welcome to a new post!

Today I bring a new chapter in this series of guides in which I talk about the rulesets of the game, how to play when they appear, which cards are more or less useful and above all how to improve your winrate in the games that have this ruleset. Today I chose one that often appears in the battles and that at first glance seems simple but on the contrary, it completely changes a game. Today we will talk about the Ruleset EQUALIZER. La Salud inicial de todos los Monstruos es igual a la del Monstruo de cualquiera de los dos equipos con la Salud base más alta.

No utilices monstruos con mucha salud y céntrate en hacer daño. Trata de usar muchos monstruos también. Tener Tank Heal, Thorns, Triage ayuda mucho.

Esta es la muy buena explicacion que nos da Splintercards, ahora nos toca analizarlo a fondo para aprender a sacarle provecho.

The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health.

Don't use high HP monsters and focus on high damage. Try to use a lot of monsters as well. Having a Tank Heal, Thorns, Triage for defense helps a lot.

This is the good explanation that Splintercards gives us, now we have to analyze it in depth to learn how to take advantage of it.

Este ruleset es de los mas interesantes por el efecto que tiene, segun las combinaciones que hagas y el mana vas a poder cambiar por completo todo el panorama de tu partida. Aqui es muy importante saber administrar bien el mana que te permite la partida, de ahi resultaran o no las mejores combinaciones de cartas. El aumento de vida cambia todo y voy a darte ahora algunos ejemplos:

  • Cartas con poca vida.

Hay muchas cartas que estan hechas especialmente para batallas de mana bajo y por eso tienen poca vida, pero algunas de ellas tienen habilidades tan buenas que al igualar su vida a un nivel mayor la puedes convertir en la mejor version de si misma:

This ruleset is one of the most interesting because of the effect it has, depending on the combinations you make and the mana you will be able to completely change the whole panorama of your game. Here it is very important to know how to manage well the mana that the game allows you, from there will result or not the best combinations of cards. The life increase changes everything and I will give you now some examples:

  • Cards with low life.

There are many cards that are specially made for low mana battles and therefore have low life, but some of them have such good abilities that by matching their life to a higher level you can turn them into the best version of themselves:

Y ni hablar de cartas que dan una ventaja mas que increible, como las nuevas legendarias Chaos Legion que valen 0 puntos de mana o aquellas cartas que valen solo 1 punto y tienen habilidades muy potentes:

Pero el juego en si no cambia mucho con el ruleset, lo que cambia aqui son las cartas que usamos porque como ya dije, algunas obtienen una utilidad diferente pudiendo hacer que una carta comun de 1 punto de mana sea mejor que una legendaria. Esa es la versatilidad que te ofrece este ruleset asi que es recomendable estudiarlo en ''off'' para asi ir pensando que cartas servirian mejor o peor si este set aparece. Ten en mente que afecta a ambos jugadores, hablare de eso mas abajo en las desventajas.

Not to mention cards that give an incredible advantage, such as the new legendary Chaos Legion that are worth 0 mana points or those cards that are worth only 1 point and have very powerful abilities:

But the game itself does not change much with the ruleset, what changes here are the cards that we use because as I said, some get a different utility and can make a common card of 1 point of mana better than a legendary. That is the versatility that this ruleset offers you so it is advisable to study it in ''off'' to think about which cards would be better or worse if this set appears. Keep in mind that it affects both players, I will talk about that below in the disadvantages.

como no interfiere tanto en el juego si no en las cartas creo que todas las habilidades pueden o no ser ventajosas con este ruleset ya que va a depender de que cartas juegues, pero hay algunas que me llaman mucho la atencion como:

  • Camouflage, que evitará que esa carta sea atacada hasta estar en la primera posicion.

  • Magic Reflect, Return Fire y Thorns porque ese daño extra siempre es bien recibido.

  • Triage, para curar a tu segunda linea que seguro recibira daño en estas batallas.

  • Taunt + Tank Heal, una forma sencilla y excelente de armar una buena estrategia en este ruleset.

Esta ultima es una buena manera de sacar ventaja y aqui te dejo un ejemplo usando cartas de Tierra:

as it doesn't interfere so much in the game directly but in the cards I think that all the abilities on the game can or not be advantageous with this ruleset as it will depend on what cards you play, but there are some that catch my attention like:

  • Camouflage, which will prevent that card from being attacked until it is in the first position.

  • Magic Reflect, Return Fire and Thorns because that extra damage is always welcome.

  • Triage, to heal your second line that will surely take damage in these battles.

  • Taunt + Tank Heal, a simple and excellent way to build a good strategy in this ruleset.

This last one is a good way to take advantage and here is an example using Earth cards:

Mientras Mycelic Slipspawn se come todos los ataques, tiene 2 cartas curandolo y otra dandole escudo, todas haciendo mucho daño si usas a Obsidian y ademas puedes agregar otras cartas como Scavo Hireling y lo que se te ocurra para darle mas fortaleza al Mycelic y/o para hacerle daño a tu oponente. Asi como esta, puedes crear muchisimas combinaciones que te ayudaran a ganar partidas.

While Mycelic Slipspawn eats all the attacks, he has 2 cards healing him and another one giving him shield, all doing a lot of damage if you use Obsidian and you can also add other cards like Scavo Hireling and whatever you can think of to give more strength to Mycelic and/or to hurt your opponent. Like this example you can create many combinations that will help you win games.

Hay ciertas habilidades que pierden utilidad cuando aparece este ruleset, la que para mi es la que mas sufre es Opportunity, que en las primeras instancias de la partida atacará a cualquier carta que pueda ser objetivo, ya que todas tendran la misma vida, Redemption porque 1 punto de daño no hara mucha diferencia en estas batallas y tambien Giant Killer, ya que salvo que aparezca mucho mana es casi seguro que habran muchas cartas con mana bajo o regular, ya que la idea principal es es potenciar cartas debiles.

There are certain abilities on the game that lose utility when this ruleset appears, the one that for me suffers the most is Opportunity, that in the first instances of the game will attack any card that can be a target, since they will all have the same life, Redemption because 1 point of damage will not make much difference in these battles and also Giant Killer, because unless a lot of mana appears it is almost certain that there will be many cards with low or regular mana, since the main idea of this ruleset is to boost weak cards.

Todos estos stos son varios y buenos ejemplos de cartas que tienen mucho daño y que se potencian muchisimo de este ruleset, y aunque dije que Oportunity tiene algo de desventaja, hay cartas como Serpentine Spy que tienen tanto daño que seria una locura no tomarlas en cuenta. Lo primordial es concentrarse en hacer mucho daño pero no por eso descuidar una alineacion balanceada, piensa en la vida que tendran tus cartas y las de tu oponente, otra habilidad que no mencione fue Leech Life porque aumentará aun mas la vida de tus cartas, haciendo que sean mas duraderas. ¿Cuales utilizas tu? dejame tu comentario y tambien dime que otro ruleset te gustaria que analizara en mi proximo post, muchas gracias por haber leido y espero que te haya sido de ayuda.

These are several good examples of cards that have a lot of damage and that are boosted a lot by this ruleset, and although I said that Opportunity has some disadvantage, there are cards like Serpentine Spy that have so much damage that it would be crazy not to take them into account. The main thing is to focus on doing a lot of damage but do not neglect a balanced alignment, think about the life that your cards and your opponent's cards will have, another ability that I did not mention was Leech Life because it will increase even more the life of your cards, making them more durable.
