PolyCub - Clear skies ahead
The price of polycub has been on a continuous downtrend ever since launch except for a small pump that happened when the PR posts were published on various crypto news websites.
Polycub is about to turn around and some wallets are already buying in anticipation of what's coming. The price already increased by 10% in the last 24 hours.
Less printing
With the end of the airdrop coupled with another halving in the emissions. Both of them will happen in less than 24 hours.
More utility
The decision to create liquidity pools for hive tokens using Polycub will create some buying pressure. Most people will need to buy Polycub to couple with the other pool asset, the first Phive-Polycub liquidity pool goes live tomorrow.
More fees for the polycub pools
Trading PHive for USDC will force you to go through two Polycub pools, the first one where you exchange Phive for Polycub and then once again to trade Polycub for USDC. Liquidity providers from each of these pools will earn a small fee because of it.
This mechanism makes it a little bit more expensive to go from Phive to USDC but I believe it is worth it since there is no other DeFi project out there where you can trade wrapped Hive tokens.
Some concerns
All upcoming events are extremely positive for Polycub but I'm concerned about the Phive - Polycub Liquidity pool not gathering enough liquidity.
The price of polycub will grow way faster than Hive's price hence causing everyone in the liquidity pool to take some impermanent losses. It might be worth it to take the impermanent loss depending on how good the APY is for that farm.
Clear skies ahead
It's been two very painful months for Polycub. I think the worse is over, the major slowdown in printing will help stop the bleeding and now the diamond paws will simply hold and wait for the exciting part to begin. There are a ton of exciting updates coming for Polycub over the next months and slowly it will become the sustainability machine we all hoped for.

I have to admit that I already invested in Polycub ;)
Ehehe I think it was the right decision!
I think the new changes are good because I don't think having so much PolyCUB staked in xPolyCUB doesn't do a good job for the liquidity. At the same time, I am still skeptical about PolyCUB APRs because the price of PolyCUB would have to double each month to maintain the current APRs with the emissions being halved.
