kutch nhi dekha to kuch nhi dekha.
If you haven't seen Kutch, you haven't seen anything.

I just want to continue my series where i represent Kutch's famous and beautiful place 😊.

Welcome to my blog again. I'm glad that you are here. Today i would like to share about my one day trip to kutch's highest point at black hill which has many attractive things.

About kala dungar/ Balck hill :

Kala dungar is a fascinating destination , which is situated at an altitude of 462 meters above the sea level . Here you can enjoy the glimpses of the vast white rann and the surrounding landscape. It has many attractive things, which you see below 👇

Attractive points at kala dungar/ black hill:

  • 400 years old dattatreya temple

  • Geological feature and megnatic field

  • Showing Kutch's culture

  • White rann and beyond

  • Mesmerizing sunset point and highest point of the kutch

Where is kala dungar / black hill:

Kala dungar also known as Balck hill is a place in Gujarat, kutch ( india). This is the near place of Kutch 's famous visiting place white rann .

How to reach there :

To visit kala dungar you have to first come bujh , which is well connected with ahmadabad and main cities. Than you can visit white rann and kala dungar which is situated 90 km away from bhuj.

In the way we can enjoy salt field, wind Mills and great nature views.

My experience:

Somedays ago when i visited to white rann i also visited to kala dungar which is almost 40 km away from white rann.

It was a sunny day and we're so excited to experience this attractive and famous hill of Kutch.

First we experienced the megnatic field. Near the hill almost 2-3 kilometres before we saw that board written magnetic field.

It was my first experience, we put our car in neutral and car was going backward.

After that first we saw that a group of people performing folk song of Kutch , Gujarat .

These songs are very pleasant to listen to and for those who come from outside gujart, listening to such songs is a very good experience and a way to know Kutch / Gujarat culture.

Than we went to the temple which is 400 years old.

Glimpse of the temple iocns .

I captured this picture while circling the temple.

I don't know the history of the temple, just know that this is 400 years old and have a difference importance. I felt there a different level of peace.

Here is some details about this temple written in Gujarati language.

Kutch's culture:

There are many shops which represent Kutch 's culture. They sell kutchi work ghagra, duppta, slippers, purse, home decor items and many more things. I captured some pictures which you can enjoy here ;

After this we started to climbing the peak point.

There are many stairs built for it, on the way there are many shops showcasing kutcha culture , at some place group of people were also singing folk songs.

You will not even feel tired while going to the peak point because when there are such views on the way, there is no need to feel tired .

Camel rides are also available there for going to peak point and also for fun.

Here you can enjoy the beauty of the peak point. Look prefect and beautiful scenery it is. From here you can enjoy the white rann view, sea view. Sky looks so clean and blue. Water and sky color looks same which is really so attractive.

This is a perfect sunset point. People come here to enjoy the enchanting sunset view here. We also go there to enjoy sunset view but for that we've to wait for some time because we went there around 5 pm. But due to cold air at the top my baby feel uneasy so i couldn't wait to enjoy sunset view. But even in the sunlight the views were soothing to the eyes.

I hope you like this place and virtual trip with me. Go there once and enjoy the beauty 😀

Thank you so much for your time, support and love 🤍✨

Such a beautiful place, I am of the opinion that if you are healthy and fit then don't take animal rides which are available in such places.

Hello friend. Nice to give a write up about kutch . It looks so beautiful. So colourful handworks. While in school, in our CBSE textbook Gujarat is known as a place of desert. But here its full of greeneries. Lovely. I have heard of this famous Gagra choli also. I studied in a north Indian college where we had students from north. As such I knew a little about this place.
