Welcome to my blog again. I'm so glad that you are here. Today I'm going to share the recipe of rava toast.

Rava toast or suji bread is an Indian breakfast/snacks recipe made with suji/rava , herbs and curd. You can add vegetables according to your choice. This is also known as eggless french toast.

This is an easy and tasty recipe with also can be enjoy in the lunch box. My baby loves this recipe so i made it frequently.

Ingredients ✅

Suji / rava/ semolina 1 cup
Curd 1/2 cup
Water
2 Onion finely chopped
1 Tomato finely chopped
1 capsicum finely chopped
2 green chilli
Salt
Red chilli powder || black pepper powder
Ghee
Bread

Method ✅

Step 1:

Firstly in a mixing bowl take 1 cup rava .

Take 1/2 cup curd and mix it well and make it smooth like this:

Now mix suji and curd also add required water and make a batter.

Keep aside and rest for 10-15 minutes until rava turns soft.

step 2:

Other side take Vegetables and chopped finely.

This time i only take green chilli, onion and capsicum. You also can add tomato, carrots and coriander leaves.

I chopped it in chopper to make it more finely in less time.

Step 3:

Now add that chopped vegetables in the batter.

Step 4:

Add spices or herbs in the batter.

Mix all ingredients well.

Keep consistency of batter medium. Not so thin not so thick.

Step 5:

Now take bread and cut in the 2 pieces or you can use Direct.

Step 6:

Now take a non-stick tawa or pan. This time i used iron cast tawa.
Also take ghee in a bowl and melt it. Or you can use butter.

Now take bread slice and dip in the batter or you can spread batter on the bread slice.

Put it on the hot tawa. First spread some dropes of ghee on the tawa and put the rawa bread slice.

you can add 1 to 5 slices according to the size of tawa and your comfort.

When rava toast seems to cook, turn it and put some ghee or butter again.

Like this turn and cook till it turn golden and crisp.
Now put off from tava and serve for the breakfast 😃.

Repeat the process with remaining slices and enjoy with green chutney, Schezwan chutney or ketchup.
