Shahi Tukda : A rich & festive dessert

Hello friends!

Today I'm going to share a dessert recipe which is really so rich and yummy. At first when me and my husband try this recipe at hotel , we found it so yummy so we tried it at home. Today my husband made Shahi tukda one more time which I want to share with you all:-)

Shahi tukda made with ghee , fried bread , thickened sweetened milk , saffron and nuts. Shahi tukda literally translate to a royal piece of dessert. Because Shahi tukda made by deep frying bread pieces in ghee until golden and crisp. Then they are dipped in sugar syrup.

To finish off a generous amount of thickened Creamy saffron milk also called rabari is poured over them. Lastly shahi tukda is topped with Mawa and toasted nuts like cashew , almond and pistachios. This is high in calories and a festive dessert so it's known as shahi tukda( royal piece of dessert). It is usually eaten in small portion.

This is really so delicious dessert. Today I was not able to captured whole process but next time I'll share it's recipe with you all:-)
